The XQS line is a popular line of nicotine pouches from Sweden that has been around for a few years now. I'm a big fan of their
Pipe Candy flavor, so when I saw this one listed on
Snus24, I had to check it out! The
flavor description for this one says, "
A flavor of orange, other citrus fruits and apple". I like the taste of orange, and it's not one you commonly see with snus or nicotine pouch products. So, needless to say, if a taste comes around that is unique, it definitely captures my attention. Each can weighs 10g and has 20 pouches, for 0.5g each. The strength is 20mg/g, or 10mg/pouch. Now, with all that being said, let's get into the review and check this one out!
Opening the can, the aroma that comes through is interesting, and more unique than I expected. I pick up orange up front, then a little lemon in the mix. There also seems to be a little clove and cinnamon in there. There's also a presence that reminds me of bubblegum, for some reason. The pouches are slim, lighter in weight, and soft. They have a good moisture amount to them, and a pretty quick release of flavor. In the taste, it reminds me a lot of bubblegum, for some reason. There's a present taste of orange, along with a dab of tart lemon. There's seems to be a little clove presence to it, perhaps some cinnamon. The nicotine strength feels about regular, and has a steady delivery to it. The flavor, on average, lasts about an hour.
Rating and Final Thoughts
Going into this one, I didn't expect a lot. I expected orange and apple, a straightforward taste. But, surprisingly, it was more in depth than that. I rated this one at 3.29/5. All in all, it's a pretty solid nicopouch! I like the mix of flavors that came across, and that it wasn't so one dimensional. If you like citrus flavors, this is definitely one you'll want to check out. It's quite tasty!
