Cannadips CBD Pouches: Maui Wowie - Review. 30 March 2022.

Today we're diving into a new release from Cannadips in their Humboldt Series!  Meet Cannadips: Maui Wowie!  The Humboldt Series is a sub-line in the Cannadips CBD Pouches series where they release special, limited editions flavors that pay homage to the Humboldt region.  Humboldt is a county in the Emerald Triangle, so named because it is the largest cannabis-producing region in the United States.  Cannadips takes a lot of pride in their region, hence the product!  Weedmaps.com tells us more about the Maui Wowie strain:  "Maui Wowie is a Sativa-dominant landrace strain that originated in the 1970s on the Hawaiian island for which it’s named. The strain has been cultivated for more than four decades."

When it comes to the Cannadips version of this product, let's get to know it a little better before we dive into the review.

A strain that features tropical flavors and true island vibes, Maui Wowie has its roots in the rich volcanic soil of Hawaii."

Now with all that being said, let's dive into the review!

When you open the can, this one has a nice, bright, tropical aroma to it.  Pineapple comes through in a major way.  There's a little pine to it, and a subtle touch of citrus.  The pouches are the standard Cannadips pouches:  lighter in weight, semi-dry, but still pretty soft to the touch.  As they get more moist in the lip, they get more comfortable, and the flavor starts to come on.  The flavor profile on this one is one of the best I've had in a Cannadips product yet!  The pineapple taste has a slightly earthy profile to it, along with subtle hints of citrus and just a little pine.  The flavor lasts well over an hour, which is a hallmark of the Cannadips line.  The CBD release and delivery is satisfactory, which is one of the reasons I use Cannadips almost exclusively when it comes to CBD pouches!

Rating and Final Thoughts

This is one of the highest rated Cannadips products I've done yet.  I gave it a 4.54/5, which came in high because of the 4.5 I gave it on aroma and flavor.  I've only given a few of their products such high marks, including my favorite of theirs:  Mango.  This is a great taste, and one I definitely plan on enjoying in the summertime.  There's just something about pineapple.  I know the Humboldt Series is more of a limited edition, so I'm gonna grab some more to throw in the freezer.  I definitely want this when it starts warming up!
