Zyn Violet Licorice (Nicotine Pouches) - 20 February 2022.

There's a new Zyn product on the market, this one with the intriguing taste of Violet and Licorice.  This is one that's made for the Swedish market (and online to other countries), so it's a moist/slim Zyn product, not the mini dry format.  I bought this one from Snus24.com, so if you're in the US it's one you can buy online.  I found a good flavor description for it on the Swedish Match e-store I wanted to share:  "Full-bodied and tasty with clear hints of licorice, violet and salmiak. Sour saltiness with a slight pepperiness at the end".  Each can weighs 16.8 grams and has 21 portions, for 0.8 grams each.  The bottom of the can puts the nicotine content at 6.5mg/portion, which would be around 8.13mg/g (0.813%).

There aren't a lot of licorice flavored nicotine pouches, so I was pretty intrigued with this one.  When you open the can, this one has a pretty nice aroma to it.  The violet is present, and adds a light floral sweetness to it.  It balanced pretty well with a black licorice aroma.  The pouches are slim, and semi-moist.  I do suggest fluffing them, because the material inside the pouch is pretty firm and clumpy.  The taste of this one is quite good.  It's a gentle, floral, lightly sweet violet flavor at first.  Then, a salty black licorice flavor mingles in that mixes well with the violet.  The nicotine strength on this one feels to deliver around the regular strength mark.  The flavor, on average, lasts for around 40 to 50 minutes.

Rating and Final Thoughts

This was a pretty solid tasting product.  I dig the black licorice taste, and I think violet is a pretty solid pairing with the flavor.  I rated this one at 3.67/5.  I think people who use nicotine pouches would enjoy this one, because it has a pretty present, but enjoyable and balanced flavor.  It's also not super strong, which is nice, because most products these days are way too strong to enjoy.  This isn't one available locally in the US, so if you want it you'll have to grab it from an e-store online.
