McChrystals Mulled Magic (Nasal Snuff) - Review. 10 December 2021.

I've been trying to get Snubie.com back on track lately and focused more on tobacco-centric products and less on nicotine pouches.  That's meant expanding to cover other tobacco products.  I've recently begun adding nasal snuff reviews here.  I've enjoyed nasal snuff for many years, but I haven't really branched out on products I try.  I've mainly used mostly Toque products, so it's been fun reviewing them because it's like when I first started using snus - lots of new products to try out!  Today, we're talking about McChrystal's Mulled Magic.  I picked this one because Christmas is right around the corner, and this snuff gives me a major Christmas vibe.  McChrystals is a UK based company going back to 1926.  They're currently in their fourth generation running the company.  When it comes to their products,  I've had a few other McC products, but this is one that kinda slipped past my radar.  I recently grabbed a McChrystals Assorted box with a bunch of mini-tins in it, and this was one of them.  The product description for this one says "a mix of well-aged sweet tobaccos and spices with notes of cloves, cumin, and cinnamon".  This is a little tin, at 3.5g.  There are larger tins of it, if you want to try that.

As a big fan of clove, I really enjoy this one.  When you open the tin, you'll notice the grind to be about medium, with a medium moisture amount.  The aroma that comes from the can is a smell of clove, along with a subtle tobacco base and a light sweetness.  I find this one to be pretty easy to take, with a subtle warming sensation on the draw.  I don't sneeze with this one, nor do I get a heavy drip.  In the nose, clove is the heavy hitter.  I pick up a subtle pepper, a rich, earthy tobacco base, and a faint hint of cinnamon, a rather nice experience!  The nicotine is pretty decent, and feels about average.  In terms of longevity, a lightly sweet presence of clove lingers for a bit, which yields a nice, relaxing experience.

Rating and Final Thoughts

I really like this one and find it to be a pretty enjoyable snuff.  With Christmas right around the corner, this is one that I'll be enjoying a good bit throughout the holidays.  As someone who really loves clove, I rated this one at 3.5/5.  While it's not something I'd use full time, it's definitely something I'm going to grab some more of to keep around!

Also, I grabbed this from MrSnuff.com.  Use code SNUBIE there to get yourself a nice discount.
