Frē Nicotine Pouches: Lush - Review. 4 December 2020.

I recently reviewed Frē Nicotine Pouches (Mint and Mocha), two new products from DTPL and Turning Point Brands.  They've launched another flavor that we'll be talking about today - Frē Lush!  Frē is a US nicotine pouch brand, available on their website and Nicokick.com!  In my last review, I remarked that these are some of the better nicotine pouches sold in the US, and this flavor is as well.  When it comes to this one, the flavor description says, "A harmonious blend of sweet and tropical undertones". Frē comes in two strengths: 9mg (per portion) and 12mg (per portion). I'll be reviewing one of each strength in this review to get a feel for how strong each strength level is. What is most interesting about Frē however, is that it is completely tobacco free. While most nicotine pouches don't contain tobacco, they do contain tobacco derived nicotine. Frē contains nicotine that isn't derived from tobacco, making it fully and completely tobacco free.

    

As these are basically the same product, I'll be reviewing them together.  When you open the can, a mildly sweet aroma of melon greets you with a little touch of citrus.  The portions are moderately soft, slim to the touch, and lighter in weight.  Though only 0.5g each, they don't feel too light, even with the lighter weight; they still have a great fit in the lip.  I also observe a subtle cooling presence, as well!  The flavor is mostly melon, and reminds me of cantaloupe, but with a touch of honeydew melon.  There is a mild sweetness, along with a hint of citrus!  The flavor, on average, lasts about 30-40 minutes.  In terms of the nicotine strength, the 9mg/pouch one feels to be around the regular strength mark.  The 12mg/pouch one feels to be a little above regular, right around the strong mark.

Rating and Final Thoughts

This one ranked at 3 out of 5 for me.  That may sound low, but as I am not a nicotine pouch consumer, I've found anything at a 3 or above is something I'd consider to be a "good" product.  I enjoyed it, and I think it's certainly one of the better nicotine pouch products available for US consumers.

If you're in the US, and you like products like these, the Frē line is definitely something to check out.  This one is quite enjoyable, and I think folks are really going to enjoy the Frē line!
