G4 Deep Freeze (All White) Slim - Review (Discontinued). 1 March 2020.

I recently reviewed Zyn Deep Freeze (Nicotine Pouches), a product with a menthol/eucalyptus flavor, and now Swedish Match has launched an all white version: G4 Deep Freeze! G4 are "all white" products, which are slightly different from nicotine pouches, which I'll explain shortly. I saw SnusMe.com is stocking it now, so I grabbed some to do a review of. The flavor description for this one says, "Light and spicy character with distinct elements of eucalyptus and menthol." Each can weighs 19.2g and has 24 portions, for 0.8g portions. The nicotine content is 18.5mg/g (1.85%) or 14.8mg/portion.

Now, what are the differences between regular snus, all white, and nicotine pouches? Regular snus is, of course, brown tobacco/regular tobacco. Nicotine pouches are products that don't contain tobacco - they have plant fiber and nicotine instead. All white is a mix of white tobacco with a small share of plant fiber. White tobacco is usually refined through some water-based process.  You can see on the left the pouch looks like regular snus, except it's all white, as is the material inside the pouch.  These also remain completely white before, during, and after use.

If you've had Zyn Deep Freeze before, this product seems to be identical, except this one contains tobacco.  The aroma of this one is a very present smell of menthol and eucalyptus.  It's like opening a bag of menthol cough drops.  The portions are slim, soft, and have a great mouthfeel.  You'll notice a mild burn when you put one under the lip, which gives way to a fresh cooling presence.  The flavor is pretty simple and straightforward; it is a present menthol/eucalyptus flavor.  It's not too sweet, and it has a nice freshness to it.  The nicotine level feels to be at the extra strong level, and has a solid kick to it.  The flavor, on average, lasts about 45-50 minutes on average!  If you like menthol/eucalyptus flavored snus products, you may enjoy this one, especially if you're looking for one with a strong kick!
