Today, Swedish Match has launched
their own e-store selling factory fresh products within Sweden! Yes, that means no one outside of Sweden can order from their e-store. The snus sold on their e-store is considered to be "factory fresh". On their new website they say: "
Direct from our factories: As a rule rests snuff in a few days after the production for it to get its usual, perceived texture and taste. Some demand however even more recent snuff. Therefore we offer here on our e-commerce and in our Stores Swedish Match snus latest production, directly from our plants in Gothenburg and Kungälv. ...we offer a range of snuff a last date of manufacture of up to seven days." So, not only do they have an e-store, the snus sold on their e-store is extremely fresh! They also offer a subscription service for regular deliveries, as well.
Another neat option offered on their e-store is the ability to
mix your own snus and have it shipped to your door! You can choose from a wide variety of flavors and also have your snus delivered to you in portion or loose format! I have to admit, I am extremely jealous of this option. I can buy Swedish Match products online already, but this is something that I could have a lot of fun with!
I imagine this is something that is going to be a big hit with snusers in Sweden. Not only can Swedes now walk down to a local store and buy virtually any flavor of snus they want, now they can also order online. Here in the US I must admit, I am extremely jealous.
