Lundgren's Vit (Perforated White) - Review (Discontinued). 19 November 2015.

Lundgren's Perforated Vit is a white portion snus from Fiedler and Lundgren that comes in a different format from what we've seen in the past. It is a white portion, but perforated - meaning there are tiny holes in the pouch. The flavor description says, "Rich tobacco taste where you find dark notes and sweetness, with hints of meadow flower and herbs."

F and L tells us, "Lundgrens white portion is a revolutionary pouch which is first on the market that consists of a perforated sachet. The bag allows you to get closer to the tobacco and therefore provides a greater treat than other white portion snus can. With the same sleek feature that snus is less runny and feels fresh lower lip. A new kind of pouches with a perforated bag for the taste to come out faster and feel more. With a good tobacco flavor mixed with some herbs so is Lundgren's a good taste novelty on the market. Rich tobacco taste where you find dark notes and sweetness, with hints of meadow flower and herbs."  This portion is really interesting, I've never seen anything quite like it.  It's perforated, so you can see the tiny little holes all over the pouch.  It's very interesting.

The smell of this snus is a thing of beauty, it's probably one of the best smelling snuses I've run into in a long time. It's like walking through an herb garden and a flower garden at the same time. Sweet smells of flowers and herbs greet you as soon as you open the can. It's really quite interesting. As I fluffed the portions, I found that the snus stayed in the pouch, so no worries about it coming out or anything through the little holes. When you put this snus in, the taste hits you immediately. A mellow tobacco flavor with floral notes, a nice herbal balance, and a slight sweetness accompanied by a very mellow salt balance. It has such a great flavor, all of these ingredients mix so well together to provide a top notch experience.  The flavor lasts quite a while, well into the 45 minutes to an hour mark.  The nicotine kick is moderate, feeling a little bit more than 8 mg/g but less than 12 mg/g.
