Skruf Stark (Slim White) #3 - Review. 12 May 2015.

The Skruf line recently went through a redesign, so I've been revisiting all of their products to kick off 2019.  Honestly, I haven't used this product since the last time I reviewed it back in 2015.  My friend Matt (from SnusTV.com) is a big fan of it, and I saw it on a recent order of his, so it made me want to get back around to revisiting this one.  The flavor description for this snus says, "Skruf Slim Strong White Portion - premium quality strong snus with traditional snus flavor and rose oil."  It comes in a 16.8 gram can with 24 portions for 0.7 gram portions.  The nicotine strength is a 3/4 on the Skruf Scale of Power, which puts it around 12mg/g-14mg/g.

When you open a can, a very mild aroma of citrus comes through with a light floral sweetness. That floral sweetness comes from the inclusion of rose oil, which is something that Skruf does with their snus products that no one else does.  The portions are slim, and comfortable in the lip.  They feel a little dryer than the average white portion, but they aren't uncomfortable or anything.  The flavor is a balance of gentle tobacco taste, mellow bergamot/citrus flavor and a very slight sweetness that comes from the rose oil.  It's a traditional flavored snus, but the tastes aren't as bold as what you would find with many other products.  The flavor, on average, lasts quite a while; I've found I can enjoy this one for up to an hour.  The nicotine strength feels to be stronger than regular strength, as well.  It's not too overbearing, but you do notice that extra kick!

If you're new to Swedish Snus and want something that is a good step into the world of the traditional flavor profile, this would be a good one to check out.  Skruf Snus has a great flavor, and this one is no exception!
