Thunder Frosted Extra Strong & Ultra Strong White Dry - Preview. 29 October 2014.

V2 has released two more "White Dry" product, Thunder Frosted White Dry Extra Strong and Thunder Frosted White Dry Ultra Strong.

The BuySnus.com e-store describes Thunder Frosted White Dry Extra Strong as, "Thunder Frosted White Dry Extra Strong - strongly reduced moisture and therefore lower weight - but full flavor and hit! Only 18% moisture - resulting in a 27 mg/g nicotine content. "Frosted" is the most popular snus flavor there is! Nicotine: 27 mg/g @ 18% moisture. Type: White Dry Portion."

The product description for Thunder Frosted White Dry Ultra Strong says, "Thunder Frosted White Dry Ultra - strongly reduced moisture and therefore lower weight - but full flavor and hit! Only 18% moisture - resulting in a 42 mg/g nicotine content... do you dare? "Frosted" is the most popular snus flavor there is! Nicotine: 42 mg/g @ 18% moisture. Type: White Dry Portion."

For those unfamiliar, this snus is a "dry" version of Thunder Frosted, produced in the same way but without any moisture added. The nicotine absorbs into the blood slower than usual until the portion is completely moist, then it will work much like a regular original portion does.  I'll have some of this soon to review, but until then you can check out our review of Offroad Frosted White Dry, V2's first "White Dry" product that was released a few months ago.

Also, some people have asked about the nicotine content, because reading 42mg/g and 27mg/g on paper sounds pretty high, but you have to break it down by portion.

Thunder Ultra Strong Frosted White Dry
Nicotine - 42mg/g
18 portions per can
11.7 gram can weight
Each Portion - 0.65 gram
Nicotine Per Portion - 27.3 mg/portion

Thunder Extra Strong Frosted White Dry
Nicotine - 27 mg/g
18 portions
11.7 gram can can weight
Each Portion - 0.65 gram
Nicotine Per Portion - 17.55 mg/portion

  1. Hey Chad!
Long-time reader here. Just a quick question...what's the difference, if any, between these white dry portions and (my favorite) white Thunder portions? I use the Thunder white ultra strong's regularly, but these look like they have a stronger nic hit? Thanks, keep up the great work man.

This review is of the Offroad version if you wanna check that out - http://chadizzy1.blogspot.com/2014/07/offroad-frosted-white-dry-and-thunder.html - there's some photos of the tobacco there, as well.
