General Long Mint White Review. (Discontinued) 3 May 2013.

NOTE:  This product has been discontinued and is no longer for sale.

With the popularity of mint, and the popularity of white portions, it was inevitable that we would see this. General Long Mint White. The description of this says, "General Long White Mint has a medium-bodied tobacco character, fresh tones of peppermint and eucalyptus, with some cedar and citrus. Long pouches for a better fit and a more discrete feel. The pouches are dry on the surface, so they provide a fresh feel and are less runny. The snus however is moist, for a long lasting flavor release."

When you open the can, the aroma that comes through is a sharp peppermint aroma. The portions are the usual white portions/long portions, not too dry, with a little moisture poking through but not much. They're quite comfortable in the lip, as I've said before, long portions are truly the best way to enjoy snus.

The taste is pretty interesting. It's not like the classic General Mint taste. It's got a nice little twist to it. The peppermint flavor is very present, with hints of eucalyptus and a menthol-ish effect. There is a tiny little hint of citrus in the background and a pleasant salt balance. It's a pretty well rounded snus with a long lasting flavor. Though I've declared my love for Catch White Spearmint Long Slim, this is a pretty good taste for those of you into mint snus.
