The official word on Skruf and the FDA. 7 July 2010.

I received official confirmation this morning from Skruf that Skruf snus will not be an FDA registered snus for sale to the US. There has been a lot of curiosity about it lately, with Northererner saying they wouldn't be selling it, and BuySnus having it on their site and saying they would, but now with this official confirmation we know that Skruf is, in fact, not an FDA registered snus. They did use the phrase "at this time", so that may possibly change some day, but for the time being they are choosing to focus on Scandinavian operations. If you're a Skruf fan, I'd suggest checking out BuySnus, because they're still selling it, so you may want to stock up while you can. Do keep in mind - as with Montecristo, R&J, Lucky Strike, etc., that if you're going to buy some you do run a risk of it being seized upon being shipped to you, as it is not an FDA registered snus. Sorry for the bad news, Skruf fans!

  3. F&L is not one of the companies signed on with the FDA, so the Mocca series won't be something you can buy in the US...
