LD White Portion was one of the first bergamot flavored snus products I fell in love with when I started reviewing snus. It has a great price and a fantastic flavor. But it always astounds me that LD doesn't get talked about as much as it should; it's very underrated. Which is a shame, because for the money it's a great product. When it comes to LD White Portion, the
flavor description says, "
LD White has a tobacco flavor with a hint of citrus and bergamot." LD White comes in a 16 gram can with 20 portions, for 0.8 gram portions. The nicotine content is 8mg/g (0.8%) which breaks down to 6.40mg/portion.
When you open the can, the aroma that comes through is the traditional smell of bergamot. The portions are soft to the touch and feel comfortable in the lip. When it comes to the flavor, it is very much a traditional Swedish Snus. The bergamot flavor is very present and comes through in a gentle way. It isn't as tart as most traditional flavored snus products. There's also a mild tobacco character in the background, a light touch of pepper, and a little salt. The flavor lasts a long amount of time; I've found with LD White I can enjoy this one for up to an hour, sometimes an hour and fifteen minutes. The nicotine strength feels to be at about the regular level, as well. If you're a fan of traditional flavored snus and want to save a few bucks, I definitely suggest checking LD out. It's a budget snus with a premium taste!
