I've got another unflavored pouch to review! This is
Fre Original. I'm a big fan of the Fre line. I like their
Lush,
Watermelon, and
Sweet products. This is another unflavored one like Sweet, so why not, let's check it out. I've been on an unflavored kick lately so I figured while I'm on a roll, let's keep that roll going. The
flavor description for this one says "Flavor free option for those preferring a neutral taste profile". Each can weighs 10g, and has 20 pouches, for 0.5g each. I have this one in the 9mg level today, but they also make 3mg, 6mg, 12mg, and 15mg of this flavor. So, truly something for everyone. Now, let's pop open a can, throw in a pouch, and do a review!
Unflavored reviews are always really easy to do for me. They're short, simple, and to the point. Opening the can, there isn't much aroma to speak of. It's very simple. I smell the pouch material, and a little dab of sweetness. The pouches are slim, lighter in weight, and pretty dry. The material in the pouch is firm, so I suggest rolling it around in your fingers to fluff it up a bit. Under the lip, once fluffed, the pouches are pretty comfortable. In the flavor, there isn't one. It's an unflavored pouch. I taste the pouch material itself, and perhaps just a little sweetness, but that's about it. The 9mg strength is satisfying. I find it to deliver around that regular strength range. The flavor longevity? Well, that's up to you. You can really keep one in as long as you're enjoying it!
Rating and Final Thoughts
I stopped rating unflavored pouches several months ago. I found without an aroma and flavor score, it would often skew my rating really high. So, since I can't do that, I figured I'd just skip the rating on them. I will say this, I've been enjoying these a lot lately. I like Fre Sweet a little more, but this one is pretty close to that one, and still pretty enjoyable if you're an unflavored pouch enthusiast!
