Today, we have a new product in the Fre range to check out. This is Fre Watermelon! This one launched a few months ago, but I recently got a can in the
2025 Nicokick.com Christmas Calendar, so I figured it deserved a proper review! Fre is a line of nicotine pouches made in India (as of the last I heard), and available locally on the US market. The flavor description for this one says "
Fre Watermelon delivers a crisp, juicy burst of classic summertime flavor in every pouch". Each can weigh 10 grams, and has 20 pouches. This means each pouch sits at 0.5g each. I have a 9mg/pouch one today, but you can also find these in 3mg, 6mg, 12mg, and 15mg. Now let's see how they taste!
When I open the can, the aroma that comes through is sweet, and citrusy. I pick up a melon aroma, with a good presence of sweetness, and a slight touch of citrus. This one reminds me a lot of the
Fre Lush product, as well. The pouches are slim in size, and moderately moist. They are lighter in weight, but still have a comfortable mouthfeel to them, and a decent amount of moisture. The flavor reminds me a lot of Fre Lush. I pick up a pretty nice melon flavor with this one. It's on the sweeter side, and comes through with some citrus in it, as well. In the nicotine strength, this one feels to be about the regular level, and has a comfortable release of nicotine. In the flavor longevity, I find it lasts about 30-40 minutes, on average.
Rating and Final Thoughts
I found this one to be pretty flavorful, and enjoyable. It had a nice taste, and a comfortable release of nicotine to it. In the end, this one sits at a 3/5 for me. It's not amazing or anything, but it is better than average, so I'd put it in the "good" range, as far as my ratings go!
