This snus is one that I've enjoyed for a long, long time. This one originally launched back in 2010 as
Catch Pure Mint. In 2015, Swedish Match added it to their new XR series as
XRANGE Catch Mint. In Fall of 2025, however, it was discontinued, and relaunched as Catch Peppermint White Slim. However, don't fret, it's the same product, just with a new name/label. The flavor description says "
Light tobacco character with clear hints of peppermint, as well as a hint of eucalyptus and cedar". Each can weighs 16 grams and has 20 portions, weighing 0.8g each. The SM site doesn't have a nicotine content published, and online I'm seeing retailers have it between 8-9mg/g. So, it's somewhere between 6.4 and 7.2mg/portion. Now, let's check the taste.
The flavor is, as I hoped, unchanged. This is one of two mint products I buy regularly, so that was what I hoped going into this one. The aroma is a mild, gentle, lightly sweet aroma of peppermint with a very faint menthol tone. The portions are slim, soft, and comfortable under the lip. They aren't super moist, so you get a gradual release of the flavor profile. I also note a light cooling sensation against the gum. The flavor, unchanged, is just as good as always. It's a mild taste of peppermint. I like that it's not overly sweet, like General Mint, for example. It has a mild tobacco base, and just the lightest touch of menthol. In the strength level, it feels around the regular strength level with a gentle release to it. The flavor lasts up to an hour, on average!
Rating and Final Thoughts
My rating remains unchanged, at 3.33/5. As the only thing that changed was the label, I don't see a need to give this a new rating. All in all, still a favorite of mine. One of only two mint products I buy regularly. If you like mint flavors, but don't want one that is way, way too sweet, this is the snus you're looking for.
