Pablo Gold (Grape Ice & Passion Fruit) Nicotine Pouches - Review. 31 August 2025.

A couple more Pablo Gold products came across my table this week, so I'm back again, this time with Pablo Gold Grape Ice and Pablo Gold Passion Fruit!  I've reviewed some Pablo products in the past, but they usually aren't my cup of tea because of how strong they are.  But, I reviewed their Pablo Gold Black Cherry a few weeks ago and found it to be pretty tolerable, at just 17mg/pouch.  So, I have a few more we'll be checking out.  These are made by NGP in Denmark.  Each can weighs 14 grams and has 20 pouches, at 0.7g each.  The pouches are slim, with a nice mouthfeel and a moderate moisture amount.  The nicotine content is 24.3mg/g, which sounds like a lot.  But the 0.7g pouches bring it down to just 17.01mg/pouch.  That being said, they still kick pretty hard.  They feel at the extra strong level, but don't hit as hard as the main line Pablo products.  Now, let's see how they taste!

Pablo Grape Ice

Flavor Description:  "Juicy grape flavor with a cool, icy sensation".

My Review:  Opening the can, I pick up a pretty present aroma of grape.  There's also slight tones of menthol underneath it.  In the flavor profile, the grape taste is present, and lightly sweet.  The subtle tones of menthol provide a light cooling presence with the pouch.

Pablo Passion Fruit

Flavor Description:  "The tropical essence of ripe passion fruit".

My Review:  This one has a pretty nice tropical aroma to it.  I pick up a tangy touch of guava, along with some tropical passionfruit.  In the flavor profile, this one is pretty nice.  It's tropical, lightly sweet, and tangy.  I pick up those mentholated tones in it as well.  So, you'll also get that cooling presence in the lip with each pouch.  But flavor-wise, it's pretty good.  I like tropical flavors, so I found this one pretty enjoyable.

Rating and Final Thoughts

While I'm not the biggest fan of Pablo, I think their Gold line is a step in the right direction.  It's giving more normal, humane strengths, which I think is a great idea.  Stuff is way too strong these days.  Passionfruit came out on top for me, at 3.08/5.  Grape Ice right behind it at 2.92/5.  But all in all, not bad.  Compared to other Pablo products, I could actually enjoy these.
