More Vid Nicotine Pouch Reviews! 23 April 2025

Earlier today, I reviewed some more Vid Nicotine Pouches with some spicy flavors.  In this review, I have some more normal flavors:  Pear, Coffee, and Blueberry.  All of these have something in common - they each have a hint of vanilla to them.  Or, so they say.  We'll see in the reviews.  I recently did an order from Snussie.com, and on that order I got a lot of different Vid Nicotine Pouch flavors.  I didn't want to do a big review with all of them, so I separated them out a bit.  Vid launched in 2021, so it's been a while since I've had it.  The parent company, Kurbitssnus, used to make some good snus products, but I don't think they make those anymore.  As far as the contents go, each can weighs in at 12 grams and has 20 pouches, for 0.6 grams each.  The nicotine content is 16mg/g, which breaks down to 9.6mg/pouch.  Before we do these reviews and talk about aroma and flavor, let's discuss what they have in common!

Commonalities:
Pouch - Each pouch is slim, and semi-moist, but slightly dry.
Nicotine Strength - The nicotine level on these feels to be about the strong level.
Flavor Longevity - All of these have a flavor longevity of about 30-40 minutes.

Now, let's do some reviews!

Vid Perfect Pear

Flavor Description:  "A taste of pear and vanilla"

Review:  Opening the can, I pick up a present aroma of pear.  It's lightly sweet, with a faint touch of vanilla.  In the flavor profile, the pear taste is present.  It's semi-sweet, but not overly sweet.  I also notice clear hints of vanilla.

Vid Blueberry

Flavor Description:  "A taste of blueberry and vanilla"

Review:  This one has a present aroma of blueberry.  It's not overly sweet, and has some light tones of vanilla.  In the flavor profile, I note a light taste of blueberry.  It's slightly sweet, and has some subtle tones of vanilla to it.

Vid Coffee Caramel

Flavor Description:  "A taste of coffee and caramelized vanilla"

Review:  I'm not a big coffee drinker, but I like the smell of coffee.  This one has a nice coffee presence.  It's a smooth aroma of coffee, with subtle hints of vanilla.  In the flavor profile, it's also quite smooth.  The coffee and vanilla balance each other out quite nicely.  It's a very enjoyable, dessert-type flavor.  I may not be a big fan of coffee, but I can definitely say that this one had a pretty enjoyable presence to it!

Rating and Final Thoughts

These were pretty solid.  Interestingly enough, I'm not a coffee drinker, but the coffee one came out on top, at 3.08/5.  Behind it, blueberry at 3/5, and then pear at 2.92/5.  The pear one, I dunno.  I just couldn't get into it.  Maybe it's the vanilla.  But the other two were pretty enjoyable.  I'd definitely suggest checking out the coffee one!
