Grinds Energy: Dill Pickle (Seriously) Pouches - Review. 23 April 2025.

Earlier today, I reviewed Grinds Energy Pouches.  I have another one of them, but I felt like this one deserved it's own review.  Why?  It's pickle flavored.  All these years I've made fun of Kronan Snus making me thinking of pickles because it tastes like dill, and now we have something that is, legit, pickle flavored.  This one was released on April 1st, which would make you think it was an April Fool's joke.  But no, it wasn't.  They gave it away with orders, from what I remember.  I don't recall seeing it for sale.  So, if you're reading this review, I don't think it's around anymore.  Like other Grinds Energy products, this one has 15 pouches in a 21.42g can, for 0.7 gram pouches.  The caffeine content is 80mg, which I believe is per pouch.

Opening the can, I found the pouches to be plump, and semi-dry.  They're all white, and contain cellulose as a filler.  The aroma that jumps out when I open the can is unmistakably pickle.  They really did it.  It definitely has that dill pickle aroma to it.  You can pick up all the elements you notice with dill pickles like the dill, the mustard seed, things like that.  In the flavor profile, it is, as promised, dill pickle flavored.  It's kind of odd at first, but I think it's meant to be.  And it's got a LOT of that dill flavor to it, too.  The caffeine effect is solid, and feels much like hitting a full can of Mountain Dew.  The flavor longevity is also impressive, lasting a good 30-40 minutes, on average.

Rating and Final Thoughts

This one was a hard one to rate.  Is it a product I'd use everyday?  No.  Is it a product I'd probably use again?  No.  But is it cool?  Yes.  Does it have a unique, wild flavor that you'd have to be an insane flavor guru to create?  Yes.  I gave it a 3.33/5.  Mainly because it's so unique.  Mrs. Snubie and I will be doing a review of this one soon, because I have to get her reaction to this stuff.  Stay tuned!
