White Gold Nicotine Pouches - Review. 12 March 2025.

I recently did an order from SnusPort.com to grab some snus I needed, and I saw these White Gold products and thought I'd give them a go.  I had White Gold back in 2021, but they were in little softpacks back then.  It seems as though the brand has grown and matured since then!  Today, we have 6 of their products to try out.  These are all similar in a couple ways - pouches and flavor longevity.  They're all the slim, semi-moist, soft pouch.  Except the mini one, that one is smaller, and light in weight.  They all seem to have the same flavor longevity, about 40-45 minutes, on average.  Where they differ:  aroma, flavor, and nicotine.  So, let's review these one at a time.

White Gold Wintergreen (Slim)

Flavor Description:  "A bold blend of mint and wintergreen".
Can Contents:  10g, 20 pouches, 0.5g each
Nicotine Strength:  12mg/g - 6mg/pouch

Review:  This one has a gentle aroma of mint and wintergreen.  In the flavor, it's a minty wintergreen.  It's lightly sweet, as well.  The nicotine feels about regular, maybe just a little below that.

White Gold Cherry Bliss (Slim)

Flavor Description:  "A burst of juicy cherry flavor".
Can Contents:  10g, 20 pouches, 0.5g each
Nicotine Strength:  12mg/g - 6mg/pouch

Review:  In the aroma, this one is smooth, and has a rich, slightly sweet aroma of cherry.  In the taste, the cherry flavor is mild, but present.  It's pretty nice though, and lightly sweet.  The nicotine strength feels about regular, maybe a little below that.

White Gold Smooth Mint (Slim)

Flavor Description:  "A soothing, refreshing burst of mint".
Can Contents:  10g, 20 pouches, 0.5g each
Nicotine Strength:  12mg/g - 6mg/pouch

Review:  This one has a pretty direct aroma of peppermint.  It's sharp, and icy.  In the flavor, it's mostly peppermint.  It's a present taste, with some sweetness to it.  The nicotine feels about regular strength, maybe just a hair below that.

White Gold Massive Mint (Mini)

Flavor Description:  "A strong, refreshing burst of mint".
Can Contents:  8g, 19 pouches, 0.42g each
Nicotine Strength:  10mg/g - 4.2mg/pouch

Review:  This one has a smooth, refreshing aroma of mint.  It's mostly spearmint, and has a subtle sweetness to it.  In the flavor, it's a pretty fresh taste of spearmint.  There's a little peppermint to it, and a subtle sweetness.  In the nicotine, this one feels pretty light, and well below regular strength.

White Gold Massive Mint 25 (Slim)

Flavor Description:  "A strong, refreshing burst of mint".
Can Contents:  12g, 20 pouches, 0.6g each
Nicotine Strength:  25mg/g or 15mg/pouch

Review:  In the aroma and flavor, this one is the exact same as the previous one, but stronger in nicotine.  It feels to be about the strong level.  On the can it says 25mg/pouch, but on the website it says 25mg/g (which is 15mg/pouch).  I'm not sure which it is, but to me it feels to probably be around the 15mg/pouch level.

White Gold Massive Mint 6 (Slim)

Flavor Description:  "A strong, refreshing burst of mint".
Can Contents:  10g, 20 pouches, 0.5g each
Nicotine Strength:  12mg/g - 6mg/pouch

Review:  This one, same as the previous one with the aroma and flavor.  This one has a regular strength nicotine level to it, maybe a little below that.

Rating and Final Thoughts

All in all, these products weren't bad.  I'd put them at about the medium ranking, or about average.  The wintergreen one was a bummer, because no one makes wintergreen nicotine pouches.  I was hoping for more wintergreen taste, but it was more wintergreen-mint.  In terms of my rankings, from top to bottom, Black Cherry came in at 3.08/5, then Wintergreen at 3/5, then Smooth Mint and Massive Mint 6mg at 2.92/5, then Massive Mint 25mg at 2.83/5, and lastly Massive Mint Mini at 2.5/5.  And there you have it, the new White Gold.  If you want to try these out, I found them over at Snusport.com.
