The folks at BAT have released another new Lundgren's nicotine pouch product! Today we have their Höståker to check out. According to the handy-dandy Google translate, Höståker means "autumn fog". It's fall right now as I write this, so the name fits. Lundgren's makes some of the highest quality nicotine pouches on the market, which I'll talk about later. I've long considered them to be the gold standard in terms of quality in the all-white segment. Their Rimfrost is probably the best mint nicotine pouch on the market, and their Mörk is one of the better tasting tobacco-inspired flavors. The flavor for this one seems similar: "a classic taste of tobacco with elements of dried fruit". Tobacco-clones are hit and miss with nicotine pouches, some are decent but some miss the mark. It will be interesting to see how this one works. Each can weighs 16.8 grams and has 21 pouches, for 0.8 grams each. The nicotine content sits at 12.5mg/g, which breaks down to 10mg/pouch.
Opening the can, the aroma that I pick up is tobacco-esque. I pick up a mild, earthy nature. It's slightly nutty, and seems to have a light caramel touch to it. I don't really pick up any "dried fruit", though. The pouches are quite nice. They're plump, full sized, moist, and incredibly soft. Under the lip they feel really nice. These are the best nicotine pouches on the market in terms of material and mouthfeel. In the flavor, it doesn't taste exactly like tobacco, but it has elements that make me think of tobacco. It is slightly earthy, in nature. I pick up some gentle nutty tones, as well as a little caramel. It has a subtle sweetness to it, but it's not overdone. I don't get any dried fruit notes. In the nicotine strength, this one feels about regular, and has a steady delivery to it. The flavor, on average, lasts about 40-45 minutes.

Rating and Final Thoughts
I rated this one a little higher than Mörk, which I rated at 3.75/5. This one I put at 3.92/5. For me, that's a high score. I don't think I've ever rated a nicotine pouch over a 4, so this is one of the highest scores I've given out yet. It's quite good. If you're a tobacco fan and wanting to go tobacco-free, I think you'll enjoy this one. While it may not taste exactly like tobacco, it gets pretty close. Close enough to be enjoyable for those who like that sort of flavor!
