Cannadips Delta-8 Pouches (Sour Gummy Bears & Bomb Pop) - Reviews. 15 September 2024

Today, I've got some Cannadips on deck to check out!  I've got two new products in their Delta-8 Rippers lineup, and these have some pretty wild flavors.  Today, I'm going to be reviewing their new Sour Gummy Bears, and Bomb Pop!  I didn't have any today, but if you want they also make Bomb Pop in the 5X CBD format.  So, if you're new to Delta-8, let me do a quick rundown!  Delta-8 is a psychoactive compound that comes from the hemp plant.  In the effect, it is said to give euphoric feelings, relaxing feelings, and also provide pain relief.  This varies from person to person, so your experience may vary!  One note from them about their Delta-8 products:  "This product is from hemp and under .3% THC however can make you fail a drug test".  Each product weighs in at 8.25 grams in total and contains 15 pouches, weighing 0.55g each.  These both have 50mg of Delta-8 per pouch!

Flavor Description:  "As lifetime fans of Sour Patch Kids and Haribo Sour Gold Bears, we decided to make some pouches that not only taste as good, but don't have any of the calories or loads of sugar.  Our team has worked hard to perfect this flavor, and we are excited for you to try it!"

Cannadips Rippers Delta-8 Pouches:  Sour Gummy Bears

The Review:  This one packs quite an aroma to it.  Just like opening a fresh bag of sour gummy bears (or worms).  It's tart, tangy, and sweet!  The pouches are dry, as most Cannadips pouches usually are, but as they sit under your lip and get more moist, they'll soften up, and release flavor.  The taste on this one is really tasty.  I was surprised how close it was to a bag of sour gummy candies.  It's sweet, and slightly tart.  Really well rounded and flavorful stuff.  The Delta-8 effect is nice, and has a relaxing feeling.  I've also used these for headaches, and found pretty good relief.  Like with most Cannadips products, you'll also find a solid flavor longevity of well over an hour with this one!

Flavor Description:  "That tangy burst of cherry, the sweet swirl of lime, and that cool blue raspberry finish! We’ve captured that nostalgic flavor and dialed it up in a way only Cannadips can. It’s like biting into that classic popsicle, but with a twist – this time, it’s ready to get you lit up!"

The Review:  As far as this product goes, it will be pretty similar to the last one in terms of how the pouch feels, the Delta-8 effect, and the flavor longevity.  Where this one will differ, is in aroma and flavor.  So as not to be redundant, that's what I'll focus on in this section.  It's September now, but I can tell you this:  we go through a lot of Bomb Pops!  So, I was pretty jazzed to check this one out.  And sure enough, it has that essence to it!  The blue raspberry I pick up most in the aroma, with the cherry behind it, then a slight dab of tart lime.  The flavor is pretty similar.  It's a sweet taste, but not overly sweet.  I think the flavors all blend well together with blue raspberry being the dominant taste.  The cherry and lime come in from the background and provide a nice compliment to the blue raspberry flavor! 

Rating and Final Thoughts

Both of these were pretty good!  Bomb Pop was definitely my favorite of the two, though, rating at 4.54/5.  Sour Gummy Bears was no slouch, delivering a 4.54/5 average.  You can't go wrong with either one, both have some pretty enjoyable, unique flavors.  That's one thing Cannadips is pretty well known for, delivering some pretty awesome flavors.
