The folks at V2 Tobacco, now owned by Swedish Match, have released some nicotine pouches in their popular Thunder range! I found them at
SnusExpress' EU store and a friend helped me acquire them for review. It was also brought to my attention that
SnusCENTRAL.com just added these, so international/US consumers can order them from there. These are the first nicotine pouches in the Thunder series, and many of them have common counterparts in the Volt or Zyn series. While these are made in Denmark at V2 (Swedish Match Denmark), I've been surprised to see their quality is on par and almost identical to the Volt/Zyn counterparts! This one doesn't have a counterpart in the Volt series, but there is a Zyn that's similar to it -
Zyn Citrus Slim Strong.

Can Contents: 16.8 grams, 21 portions, 0.8g each
Nicotine Strength: 13mg/pouch, which is 16.25mg/g in total due to the 0.8g portions.
As someone who enjoys citrus flavored products, I was looking forward to this one. Citrus products are enjoyable on their own, but also serve as a great pairing for a good beer! When you open the can, this one has a present, tart aroma of citrus. To me, it's closer to lemon in terms of what it smells like. The pouches remind me a lot of Zyn. They're slim, moderately soft, and semi-moist. They're pretty comfortable under the lip. The flavor is pretty good. It's definitely got a nice citrus taste to it. It's mostly lemon, in nature. It's fresh, lightly tart, and with a nice sweetness to it. The nicotine level feels about the strong level, and the flavor lasts about 40-45 minutes, on average.
Rating and Final Thoughts
This one rated at 3.5 out of 5. Honestly, compared to Zyn I couldn't tell much of a difference. It's virtually identical. It's a pretty solid product. It also paired pretty well with a beer. I'm not really sure who to suggest this to since the Zyn version is so similar. But I suppose if you can't get the Zyn version, or if you've had that one but want to try something else you could probably try this one. All in all it's a pretty solid product. I enjoyed it! Probably the best one in the Thunder Nicotine Pouches range.
