77 Nicotine Pouches: Ice Mint - Review. 27 July 2021.

About a year ago, I heard about a new line of nicotine pouches being made in Poland called 77.  At the time, I wasn't really reviewing nicotine pouches made outside of Sweden or Denmark.  However, I got to know 77 a little better and came to realize they were making a product every bit as good as the nicotine pouches coming out of Sweden.  I also did an interview with them for the 2020 Snus Con (Snus Con @ Home), so you can check out that video if you want to get to know them better.  I also like their company so much I even partnered with them to make a Snubie branded product:  Snubie x 77: Cherry Cola. Needless to say, I'm a fan of their products.  I had quite a few of theirs in my freezer I've been meaning to do reviews of, so now I'm getting caught back up on 77 Nicotine Pouches!  First, I'll tell you some product details, then we'll get into the review.  In this review, we're talking about 77 Ice Mint, in two strengths:  6mg and 12mg.

Flavor Description:  "The powerful refreshment of the ice mint brings to mind the cold winter days."
Can Contents:  10 grams, 20 portions, 0.5g each
Nicotine Strength (6mg):  6mg/g (0.6%) / 3mg/portion
Nicotine Strength (12mg):  12mg/g (1.2%) / 6mg/portion

These two products are basically the same, other than the nicotine strength.  So, in this review I'll be reviewing them together.  Then, at the end, I'll talk about nicotine strength and how they differ.  As far as this one goes, it's your run of the mill mint product.  The aroma is a powerful, focused aroma of mint.  It's a sharp, biting aroma of peppermint.  I pick up a little menthol, as well.  The pouches are slim, light in weight, with a moderate moisture amount.  They're comfortable in the lip, and come with a light cooling presence, as well.  In the flavor, it's a lightly sweet, fresh mint taste.  It's mostly peppermint, but with some subtle hints of menthol.  The flavor, on average, lasts about 40-45 minutes.  In terms of the strength, the 6mg/g (3mg/portion) one is pretty light, feeling much lower than regular strength.  The 12mg/g (6mg/portion) one feels lower than regular strength but not too weak.

Rating and Final Thoughts

This one is a pretty run of the mill mint product.  I rated the stronger one higher, at 3.08/5.  The lower strength one I rated at 2.83/5.  It doesn't really stand out or anything, but it's a decent product.  There's just so, so, so many mint products out there they all tend to run together for me.  If you like mint, though, this one is a pretty decent one that I think mint nicotine pouch fans will enjoy.  For me, I prefer 77's Fresh Mint much more, it's a tastier product, in my opinion.
