Grant Orange (Nicotine Pouches) - Review. 18 January 2021.

I've seen the Grant line of products popping up a lot on social media, and I've never really had any interest in reviewing them. The name is clearly a play on Granit Snus, and the cans are clearly a copy of Epok Snus.  That being said, I didn't really feel like reviewing them.  However, I've had a lot of requests to review these Grant products, so I figured I'd get one to try out for you guys.  When it comes to the flavor description for this one, it says "Grant Orange has a tangy, classical juicy orange taste with a hint of orange peel bitterness for a perfect finishing touch".  I counted 28 portions in the can, and weighed it at 12g, which means 0.43g portions.  The nicotine content is 25mg/g (2.5%), which breaks down to 10.71mg/portion.

I was interested in this one because orange isn't a common flavor in terms of nicotine pouch products.  The aroma of this one is a mild, natural smell of orange. It’s lightly sweet, and has just a little tart presence to it. The portions are smaller, light in weight, and moderately dry. I also notice a burn when I put one under the lip. The flavor is a mild, natural taste of orange. It’s not overly sweet, and has just the right amount of tart to it. The flavor isn't too present, but it's not too weak.  It's just a little subdued in nature, and a little milder than others I've had before.  The nicotine strength feels to be around the strong level, maybe just a hair above.  I find the flavor to last about 30-40 minutes on average.

Rating and Final Thoughts

This one wasn't bad, but wasn't great.  I rated it at 2.92/5.  I wish they would go with a unique name and can, because it feels like they're trying to copy off a few successful things to establish their own brand.  The aroma and flavor was solid though, I enjoyed the orange taste.  I just wish it was a little more pronounced.  In terms of nicotine pouches, I'd say it's in the middle range.
