NIXS Nicotine Pouches: Minty Lemon (Strong) - Review. 26 March 2020.

A friend of mine recently told me about a new nicotine pouch store shipping to the US, Niqopods.online. I was browsing, and saw a new brand of nicotine pouches I'd never heard of before called NIXS.  While I'm primarily a snus user, I do like to enjoy these new nicotine pouch products from time to time.  This is another one that contains plant fiber and nicotine, but is free from tobacco.  It also uses xylitol as a sweetener.  When it comes to NIXS Minty Lemon, the product description says, "In Nixs Minty Lemon you will experience a tasteful and carefully balanced combination of fresh mint and sour lemon."  Each can weighs 16g and has 18 portions, for 0.89g portions.  The nicotine content is 12mg/g (1.2%), or 10.68mg/portion.

I was curious to try this one, because it's been since Skruf Sun Fresh in 2014 that I've had a product that mixed mint and citrus.  When you open the can, the aroma is a tart, but fresh smell of lemon.  The portions are nice and plump, and feel great in the lip.  They're also not slim; they're the large size, so that was interesting.  There's a nice cooling presence when you put one under the lip, as well.  The lemon taste is front and center.  It's a lightly sweet, but tart, natural taste of lemon.  There is a freshness to it, but it's not overly minty.  It might be menthol, but I'm not sure.  The nicotine level on this one feels to be a little stronger than regular strength, but not too over the top.  The flavor seems to last about 45 minutes, on average.  As far as this one goes, I enjoyed it.  It's a very unique flavor.  The citrus and the mint actually blended pretty well together!
