It's taken me a while to get here, but this is the last General product I need to review to have them all reviewed. I forgot about the mini portions, to be honest, and I recently did an order with The Northerner and threw a can in so I could complete all the General Snus reviews. I'm a big General fan. Since September 2009, General has been the snus I use every day. I usually use General Long Portion or General Tailored White Portion. I know there are a lot of mini snus users out there, and if you're a fan of smaller portions but want the classic flavor of General Snus, this is definitely one to check out. The product description says, "A taste of tobacco with a character of citrus."
When you open a can of General Mini Original Portion, the aroma that comes through is a smell of citrus and bergamot with a slight hint of pepper. The taste is just like it's bigger portion brother, a taste of citrus and bergamot with hint of pepper and a mild flavor of salt in the background. It's the same, great General taste, but in a smaller portion format.
If you're into the General taste, but want a smaller portion - this would be a good one for you to check out. It's the General flavor but in a mini original portion. I don't use minis very often so it's not something I would use myself, but I know lots of folks out there who dig minis because of how discrete they are, so if you're a mini snus fan, give General Mini Original Portion a try!
