Big Dunc Nicotine Pouches - Review. 6 August 2025.

Today I've got a new range of nicotine pouches to check out.  This is the Big Dunc series, made by The Snus Brothers in Sweden.  They also make the FUMI brand, and the Vatos Locos brand.  This brand, from what I've noticed while reviewing it, is a rebrand of Vatos Locos.  One thing I love about this brand is that these are full sized, plump, large pouches.  In the 20g can you get 20 pouches, weighing 1 gram each.  You don't see that in a lot of products; it's quite rare these days to get a full sized pouch.  Today, we have five flavors to check out!  They're all 16mg/g, except for Caramel, which is 12mg/g.  So, let's check them out!

Big Dunc Power

Flavor Description:  "The sweet, slightly acidic taste of energy drink".

Nicotine Strength:  16mg/g (16mg/pouch)

My Thoughts:  This one I really dig.  It smells and tastes just like a Red Bull.  It's got a tropical, tart berry presence to it.  Quite nice.  In the strength, it's right at the strong level.

Big Dunc Ice

Flavor Description:  "Icy, cold mint".

Nicotine Strength:  16mg/g (16mg/pouch)

My Thoughts:  This one is your standard mint pouch.  In the aroma, a sharp, icy aroma of peppermint.  The flavor of peppermint is icy, fresh, and lightly sweet.  It's also at 16mg, or the strong level.

Big Dunc Hot Passion

Flavor Description:  "A sweet and tangy passionfruit with a light spicy from chili".

Nicotine Strength:  16mg/g (16mg/pouch)

My Thoughts:  I thought the name of this one was pretty cool.  Hot Passion.  That's unique.  In the aroma, it's lightly tropical, and lightly spicy.  The flavor is pretty decent.  I pick up a tropical taste of passion fruit.  It's not super sweet, and has a little spice to it.  This one is also a 16mg one, so again, right at the strong level.

Big Dunc Cola

Flavor Description:  "Taste of cola".

Nicotine Strength:  16mg/g (16mg/pouch)

My Thoughts:  I dig the cola flavor, so I was stoked to try this one.  In the aroma, it smells like cola.  It's not overly sweet, so that's nice.  In the flavor, a mild, lightly sweet taste of cola.  The nicotine on this one, also 16mg and at the strong level.

Big Dunc Caramel

Flavor Description:  "Rich, sweet, creamy taste of caramel with butter and nutty notes".

Nicotine Strength:  12mg/g (12mg/pouch)

My Thoughts:  This one I was rather curious to try out.  That flavor description sounds like it could be good, or bad.  So, let's see.  In the aroma, I pick up a buttery aroma of caramel.  It's lightly sweet in nature.  In the flavor, I notice the smooth, rich taste of caramel.  And yes, it does have a buttery tone to it!  This one is 12mg, so not as strong as the others.  It feels a little above the regular strength mark, but not quite at the strong.

Rating and Final Thoughts

I found these to be pretty good.  But again, I've had all these flavors before when they were called "Vatos Locos".  So, on top I have Power at 3.67/5.  Next, Cola at 3.5/5.  Hot Passion at 3.42/5.  Caramel at 3.38/5.  Ice at 3.33/5.  I will say, these pouches were awesome.  Honestly, some of the best I've had yet in terms of mouth feel.  I definitely recommend checking this brand out!
