77 Nicotine Pouches: Fresh Mint - Review. 27 July 2021.

About a year ago, I heard about a new line of nicotine pouches being made in Poland called 77.  At the time, I wasn't really reviewing nicotine pouches made outside of Sweden or Denmark.  However, I got to know 77 a little better and came to realize they were making a product every bit as good as the nicotine pouches coming out of Sweden.  I also did an interview with them for the 2020 Snus Con (Snus Con @ Home), so you can check out that video if you want to get to know them better.  I also like their company so much I even partnered with them to make a Snubie branded product:  Snubie x 77: Cherry Cola. Needless to say, I'm a fan of their products.  I had quite a few of theirs in my freezer I've been meaning to do reviews of, so now I'm getting caught back up on 77 Nicotine Pouches!  First, I'll tell you some product details, then we'll get into the review.  In this review, we're talking about 77 Fresh Mint, in three strengths:  3mg, 12mg, and 20mg.

Flavor Description:  "77 Fresh Mint. It's an ideal choice for every fan of refreshment, the delicious taste of crispy mint is a classic in its pure form."
Can Contents:  10 grams, 20 portions, 0.5g each
Nicotine Strength (3mg):  3mg/g (0.3%) / 1.5mg/portion
Nicotine Strength (6mg):  6mg/g (0.6%) / 3mg/portion
Nicotine Strength (20mg):  20mg/g (2.0%) / 10mg/portion

All three of these products are virtually identical.  The only real difference is in terms of nicotine strength.  So, I'll be reviewing them all together and we'll talk nicotine at the end of the review.  When you open the can, a sweet, refreshing mint aroma comes through.  It's a smooth aroma of spearmint with a faint hint of peppermint.  The portions are slim, light in weight, and semi-moist.  They also come with a subtle cooling presence in the lip, as well.  In terms of the flavor, I was really impressed with this one.  The spearmint taste is refreshing, lightly sweet in nature, and with a smooth presence.  Yes, there's a million mint products out there, but not many spearmint ones.  This one definitely has quite the flavor to it.  In terms of strength, the 3mg/g (1.5mg/portion) one is quite low, I didn't notice much nicotine with this one.  The 12mg/g (6mg/portion) one is a little below regular strength, but not too weak.  The 20mg/g (10mg/portion) one is around regular strength to strong, and is more satisfactory.  The flavor, on average, lasts about 40-45 minutes.

Rating and Final Thoughts

There's so, so, so many mint products out there.  And there's a billion mint flavored nicotine pouches.  However, I was really impressed with this one.  Spearmint isn't the most common mint variant out there, and this one delivers a smooth, tasty flavor profile.  The ratings ultimate came down to strength.  The 20mg one came out on top at 3.21/5.  The 12mg one came in next at 2.92/5.  After that, the 3mg one came in at 2.75/5.  If you like mint, I think you'll enjoy these.  They have a really fresh, tasty flavor!
