77 Nicotine Pouches: Forest Fruits - Review. 27 July 2021.

About a year ago, I heard about a new line of nicotine pouches being made in Poland called 77.  At the time, I wasn't really reviewing nicotine pouches made outside of Sweden or Denmark.  However, I got to know 77 a little better and came to realize they were making a product every bit as good as the nicotine pouches coming out of Sweden.  I also did an interview with them for the 2020 Snus Con (Snus Con @ Home), so you can check out that video if you want to get to know them better.  I also like their company so much I even partnered with them to make a Snubie branded product:  Snubie x 77: Cherry Cola. Needless to say, I'm a fan of their products.  I had quite a few of theirs in my freezer I've been meaning to do reviews of, so now I'm getting caught back up on 77 Nicotine Pouches!  First, I'll tell you some product details, then we'll get into the review.  In this review, we're talking about 77 Forest Fruits, in three strengths:  3mg, 6mg, and 20mg.

Flavor Description:  "77 Forest Fruits is a dream mix for every forest hiker! The aroma of forest fruits is enchanting with its intensity and carefully selected combination of flavours."
Can Contents:  10 grams, 20 portions, 0.5g each
Nicotine Strength (3mg):  3mg/g (0.3%) / 1.5mg/portion
Nicotine Strength (6mg):  6mg/g (0.6%) / 3mg/portion
Nicotine Strength (20mg):  20mg/g (2.0%) / 10mg/portion

I know we're talking about three products, but really they're all the same product.  The only thing that's different is the strength, so we'll cover those differences in the end of this review.  When you open the can, a tart, slightly sour aroma comes through.  It's a dark, fruity presence.  I pick up some blackberry, maybe a little raspberry, and some mint.  The pouches are slim, lighter in weight, with a moderate moisture amount.  They're pretty comfortable, and come with a slight cooling presence in the lip.  In the flavor, it's minty at first, and then a dark berry taste comes through.  It's slightly sour, with some tart elements.  I pick up blackberry at first, and then a hint of raspberry.  In regards to the strengths, the 3mg/g (1.5mg/portion) one is quite low, I don't really notice much nicotine at all.  The 6mg/g (3mg/portion) one is also pretty low, feeling about half the regular strength level.  The 20mg/g (10mg/portion) one delivers a bit better, feeling about the regular strength to strong level.  The flavor, on average, kicks around for about 40-45 minutes.

Rating and Final Thoughts

I enjoyed this one.  The fruit taste on it was pretty unique, and pretty tasty.  The rankings ultimate came down to nicotine strength.  The 20mg one rated at 3.29/5, the 6mg one rated at 3.08/5, and the 3mg one rated at 2.83/5.  Don't get me wrong, the lower strength ones didn't really deliver much nicotine for me.  I'm used to stronger products, though.  However, people with lower nicotine cravings may enjoy those lower strengths.  But for me, the 20mg one came out on top!
