Score Mint (White Portion) - Review. 7 October 2020.

Score is a new line of snus from a new company in Sweden, Cobber.  Cobber was founded in 2019 by Peter Carlson.  Score is inspired by the 80's, as you can tell by the graffiti inspired designs.  The products in this range are said to be "Peter Carlson’s loving tributes to the 80’s and have strong ties to the palate he experienced during his childhood."  As an 80's kid myself, this was something I was really excited to see.    Score is, as of the date of this writing, a Snusbolaget.se exclusive.  The flavor description on Snusbolaget for this snus says it has "a fresh taste of mint and menthol, with underlying notes of garden mint."  Each can weighs 14g and has 20 portions, for 0.7g portions.  The nicotine content is 10mg/g, or 1.0%, which is 7mg/portion.

I also noticed on the Cobber website they had an extended description of this snus:  "Growing up my mother used to plant garden mint at home during the summers. I especially remember how much I loved the refreshing scent from the green leaves, in particular when rubbing them between my palms. Score Mint has strong notes of mint and menthol, topped with hints of fresh garden mint."

When you open the can, a fresh, sharp peppermint smell greets you along with hints of menthol.  The white portions are incredibly soft to the touch and feel great under the lip.  Being a mint product, it also comes with a gentle cooling presence when you put one in.  The flavor is a gentle, fresh taste of peppermint.  It's not overly sweet, which is nice.  There's a tone of menthol in the background, but it's not too overpowering.  The nicotine strength feels to be a little less strong than the regular strength level, and the flavor lasts about an hour, on average.  All in all, a pretty solid tasting mint product.  It was nice that it's regular strength, and not a white dry, and not super-duper strong like everything else on the market these days.

Rating
Packaging - 4/5 - Great looking can, I love the 80's theme.
Aroma - 3/5 - Pleasant and enjoyable, not overly sweet
Portion/Mouthfeel - 3/5 - An incredibly soft white portion.
Flavor - 3/5 - Refreshing and tasty.
Nicotine - 3/5 - A little less strong than regular in feel, but a stable delivery.
Longevity - 4/5 - Long lasting flavor.
Average - 3.33/5 - A pretty solid product.  There's a billion mint products on the market, so I don't get too excited about these flavors, but mint lovers will probably enjoy this one.

Final Thoughts
Score Mint is a pretty solid release.  I like that it's regular strength, and the super soft portions were a nice bonus.  If you're a mint lover, it's definitely worth checking out!
