Today we're going to talk about the Alp Frontier Collection, a line of three exciting flavors: Mango, Cinnamon, and Coffee! These three flavors are some of their most requested, and they've released them in a new lineup! This is a limited edition release. Alp describes it like this: "Introducing the Frontier Collection: A limited release built for those who ride their own line and leave the herd behind. ALP Frontier brings together three of the most heavily requested profiles in ALP history. Saddle up and pick your flavor, because this one won't be available forever". I have the 8mg strengths today, but they also make these in the 4mg level. Now, let's try these out!
Also, thanks to Mrs. Snubie for capturing these awesome photos for this review!

My Review: Opening up the can, the mango aroma that comes through is relatively mild, and simple. It's also not overly sweet. The pouches are quite dry. They're slim, and moderately soft, but I don't notice any added moisture to these. In the flavor profile, the mango is pretty tasty. It's gentle, tropical, and not overly sweet. A nice all day type of mango taste. The 8mg strength hits pretty nicely, right at that regular level. The flavor lasts about 30-40 minutes, on average.
Flavor Description: "A rich hit of roasted espresso with a smooth, velvety sweetness. Cowboy Coffee delivers a deep, indulgent flavor profile that holds its ground all day long".
Can Contents: 8.55 grams, 15 pouches, 0.57g each
Nicotine Strength: 8mg/pouch
Alp Cowboy CoffeeMy Review: When you open a can of this one, it's a smooth, creamy smell of coffee. It's lightly sweet, and not overly bold. The pouches are interesting, because they're nothing like the mango ones. These are much more soft, with a light moisture amount to them. It's interesting that this line has different pouch qualities between the three. In the flavor profile, the coffee taste is gentle, lightly sweet, delicate, and creamy. The coffee flavor isn't too bold, or robust. It is lightly sweet, with this creamy essence underneath it. The 8mg strength feels nice on this one, too. Good regular strength delivery. The flavor seems to last a bit longer on this one, about 40-45 minutes or so.
Flavor Description: "Spiced cinnamon with a smooth finish. Campfire Cinnamon balances heat and sweetness giving you a steady burn on the long haul".
Can Contents: 8.55 grams, 15 pouches, 0.57g each
Nicotine Strength: 8mg/pouch
Alp Campfire CinnamonMy Review: Lastly, let's try out their cinnamon flavor! Cinnamon pouches aren't super common, so it's been nice lately to see more companies getting into this format. When I open the can, I detect a present, albeit gentle, aroma of cinnamon. It's lightly sweet, and has a subtle spice to it. These pouches are between the Mango and Coffee ones. They're less moist than coffee but more moist than mango. They're pretty soft to the touch, and comfortable under my upper lip. In the flavor profile, the cinnamon taste is gentle, but not weak. I pick up a lightly sweet essence from the cinnamon, but with just a little bit of spice in the background. It's not overly spicy or anything, and seems to err more on the sweet side than the spicy side. This one also comes in the 8mg level, and I find it to have a pretty comfortable delivery to it right at that regular strength level. The flavor longevity seems to be in the same vein as coffee, lasting about 40-45 minutes, on average.
Rating and Final Thoughts
The Frontier Collection is an interesting lineup, and it does bring some flavors to the Alp line that people have been asking for. I'm not sure why there's only 15 pouches per can (though Alp said this is reflected in a lower price), or why the pouch moisture level differs from product to product. But, rating-wise, Mango sits at 3.17/5, Cinnamon at 3.25/5, and Coffee at 3.42/5. If you're an Alp fan and want to try out something new, I would say I liked the flavor of Mango the most, but I liked the feel of the Coffee pouch more.
