Zyn Ultra Arctic Mint (Nicotine Pouches) - Review. 20 June 2026.

The time is now, and Zyn Ultra has released!  They filed a PMTA for this product back in 2021, and now, 5 years later, it's here.  Today, we check out their Arctic Mint flavor.  I haven't seen these locally yet, so I copped them on Nicokick.com.  Today, we're checking out their Arctic Mint flavor.  The flavor description for this one says "A glacially refreshing jolt of mint flavor".  Today, I have it in the 9mg/pouch strength.  They also do 11mg, but I'm good with regular strength, personally.  I imagine this one is meant to be similar to their Cool Mint Mini Dry product.  Now, let's get to know this product better!  Let's see what's different about this one versus the old dry Zyn!

Zyn Ultra Size Comparison

Zyn Ultra comes in the slim, moist format.  These are bigger than the old mini Zyn Dry products.  Zyn Ultra weighs 0.8g, whereas the old Zyn Mini Dry weighs 0.4g.  These are also moist, and have a much softer, more plump pouch.  A side note, these are bigger than Velo Plus, too.  Those weigh 0.53g each.  These are now some of the biggest pouches on the market in the US!  And, they're bigger than Swedish Zyn, which now sits at 0.6g.  Personally, I didn't mess with the old Zyn Mini Dry.  The pouches were too dry and didn't have much flavor to me.  These are much, much better, to be honest.  And, the pouch amount has increased, instead of 15 you now get 20 pouches per can.  Now, we review!

Opening the can, this one has a bit more mild mint aroma than their Zyn Ultra Peppermint Blast.  I pick up a fresh, sweet aroma of peppermint.  It's a bit more smooth than Peppermint Blast.  The pouch is glorious.  It's plump.  It's soft.  It's moist.  Honestly, one of the best I've encountered that is sold here in the US!  I also get a little bit of a cooling sensation when I put one up under my lip.  In the flavor profile, it's a pretty smooth mint taste.  It's gentle, but still present.  The peppermint flavor is refreshing, and smooth.  It's lightly sweet, but not overly sweet.  In the strength level, the 9mg strength has a smooth, steady, gentle delivery of the effect.  It doesn't have that fast nicotine dump like dry Zyn does.  I also find the flavor to last a solid 40-45 minutes, which is pretty solid for a US pouch!

Rating and Final Thoughts

I rated this one at 3.67/5.  It's not a bad mint pouch.  It's got a fresh, minty flavor.  I don't use a lot of mint nicotine pouches personally, but I bet mint lovers are going to be quite pleased with this one.  It has a great product quality, a nice taste, and a steady nicotine release.  If you're a mint enthusiast, you'll want to give this one a go!
