I've got some caffeine / nootropic type pouches to check out today! These are Upperdeckys. Yes, the name alludes to the popular term in the Zynfluencer sphere that refers to pouches as "upper deckies", because they go in your upper lip, or "upper deck". This comes from the same school that also calls these pouches "lip pillows". But, more on that later. Today we have five of their caffeine pouches to check out, and one that is more in the nootropic sphere. To cover some specifics, each can weighs 8.25g and has 15 caffeine pouches, weighing 0.55g each. The pouches contain coconut fiber as a medium, which yields a better release of flavor, and longer lasting flavor, than other mediums. It's interesting, these are from Swisher, the same parent company that also makes Mojo. Mojo is a genuinely awful product, so it seems like they learned and got it right with this one. Upperdeckys are made by the Boldt Runners Corporation, right here in the USA!
Upperdeckys is a product brought to life by "Cheddy", also known as Freezer Tarps on social media. He can be credited for popularizing a lot of terms like "upper decky", "lip pillow", "Zynachino", and various other terms that you hear in the pouch world nowadays. He's relatively new to our scene, he started making videos, according to this PR post, in 2020, and exploded in popularity after that. His twist on bro speech and Canadian hockey references grew into popular culture, and then into this brand: Upperdeckys. You gotta respect the man's grind, he put in the work.

Now, let's try some of his pouches!
Flavor Description: "refreshing, juicy watermelon taste".
Pouch Content: 200mg of caffeine per pouch
My Review: Opening the can, I pick up a nice, juicy aroma of watermelon. It reminds me a lot of watermelon bubble gum! The pouches are dry at first, but once in your lip for a short period of time, they'll get more moist and soften up. This one has a lot of flavor to it. The watermelon flavor is sweet, juicy, and tasty! The caffeine effect on these is quite solid. I've tested these first thing in the morning and they give a solid amount of boost. The flavor lasts a long time, too. The coconut fiber is great at flavor longevity, so I can keep these in for over an hour!
Upperdeckys Wintergreen
Flavor Description: "crisp wintergreen flavor that hits different — refreshing, delicious, and seriously effective".
Pouch Content: 200mg of caffeine per pouch
My Review: This one has a beautiful wintergreen aroma to it. It's that classic, American wintergreen smell. It's not too sweet, nor is it too minty! My notes on the pouch, caffeine effect, and flavor longevity remain the same. In the flavor profile, the wintergreen flavor is front and center. It's quite good. Much better than a lot of other US wintergreen products I've had.
Upperdeckys Rippin' Root Beer
Flavor Description: "that nostalgic root beer taste you'll love".
Pouch Content: 200mg of caffeine per pouch
My Review: I love root beer, so I was stoked to try this one out. When I popped the lid, I was impressed with how present that root beer aroma is! My notes on pouch, caffeine, and flavor longevity, of course, remain the same with this one. In the flavor profile, it's quite good. I love root beer. I have a Barq's open as I write this, actually. This one captures that beautiful taste of root beer in every pouch. It's sweet, it's smooth, it's spicy, it's tasty.
Upperdeckys Juicy Pillow Punch
Flavor Description: "sweet and tangy notes of ripe berries, the juicy goodness of tropical fruits, and the refreshing twist of citrus".
Pouch Content: 200mg of caffeine per pouch
My Review: The aroma of this one is more mild than the others. I do pick up a subtle fruit aroma. It's slightly sweet, slightly tart. There's also a little citrus tang in the background. The flavor on this one is more present than the aroma. It has a nice fruit punch type of flavor to it. But I also notice a light touch of citrus, which adds some tart to the background. My notes on the pouch, caffeine content, and flavor longevity remain the same.
Upperdeckys Buzzin' Berry
Flavor Description: "mouth-watering mix of your go-to berry flavors, packing in the sweet and juicy taste of ripe strawberries, the bold and tangy kick of fresh raspberries, and the deep, smooth hints of succulent blackberries and lush blueberries".
Pouch Content: 200mg of caffeine per pouch
My Review: This one smells really, really good. It almost reminds me of a blue raspberry type of aroma. My notes on the pouch, the caffeine effect, and the flavor longevity are the same with this one as the last ones. In the flavor profile, like the aroma, this one makes me think of blue raspberry. It's sweet, and has a little tang to it. Tasty stuff.
Upperdeckys Jacked Alien
Flavor Description: "nostalgic citrus-tropical taste".
Pouch Content: 150mg of caffeine and 50mg of Cognizin. Cognizin is a form of citicoline, which enhances memory, focus, and mental processing.
My Review: I was curious to try this one out, when I read a note on Google that says this one has the classic Ecto-Cooler flavor. Opening the can, I pick up a citrusy aroma that makes me think of orange juice. The pouches are the same as the previous ones, dry at first, but softer after they get moist in the lip. The flavor on this one is quite good. I love the tart, tangy taste of orange. The flavor also lasts quite a while, up to an hour, sometimes more! In the effect, I do notice a good energy boost from the caffeine. I haven't messed with Cognizin before this, so I tested the pouches in the morning and afternoon during my lulls. I did feel a fair amount of that "lock in" vibe, so it's obviously doing something.
Rating and Final Thoughts
I'll be honest, I was pretty impressed with this. My scores ranged from 4.13 to 4.54/5. I liked Root Beer and Jacked Alien the most, I gave them a 4.54/5. Watermelon next, 4.46/5. Buzzin Berry ater that, 4.38/5. And then Wintergreen and Pillow Punch at 4.13/5. Those were lower because I don't really use a lot of wintergreen, I have to get a craving for it. Also, I think the flavor in Pillow Punch could stand to be enhanced a bit, it was more mild than I was expecting. But that's my only minor critique with these.
