I've got another unflavored nicotine pouch to check out! I did quite a few reviews of similar products today, so I figured since I was on a roll, let's keep it going with
Clew Original! I've had a few other
Clew products in the past, so it's nice to check out their unflavored variant. The
flavor description for this one is pretty simple and to the point. It says "
Unflavored pouches". Each can weighs 10 grams and contains 20 pouches. Each pouch weighs in at 0.5g each. Today I have the 9mg strength, but they do have other strength levels. You can also get this one in 3mg, 6mg, 12mg, and 15mg. Now, let's go ahead and open up a can, pop in a pouch, and do a review of Clew Original!
Opening up the can, I don't really pick up much aroma. Because.....it's an unflavored product. I smell the pouch material itself, but that's about all the aroma I can pull out of this one. The pouches are lighter in weight, slim size, and moderately soft. They're not super moist, but not super dry. They have a nice feel against the gum, though. In the flavor, it's pretty basic. I taste the pouch material, and perhaps a little sweetness, but that's about it. In the strength, the 9mg level is pretty nice. It feels around the regular level, and has a nice delivery of the nicotine effect. In the flavor longevity, well, that part is up to you. You can keep one in as long as you're enjoying the effect from it!
Rating and Final Thoughts
I don't rate unflavored products anymore. I found the rating gets a little wonky without an aroma and flavor score to average in. Sometimes, it can skew kinda high. So, in light of that, I stopped rating them. I will wrap-up and tell you this one is pretty decent. I think there are better unflavored options out there, like
Fre's for example. But, if you're an unflavored enthusiast, there are a lot of options out there, so maybe this becomes your new favorite.
