In 2017, Swedish Match launched
the ONE line. That line would eventually re-launch, in 2020. A few years after the ONE line relaunched, this one was added to the lineup as
One Grå (Grey), in 2023. In late 2025, Swedish Match discontinued the ONE line, and One Grey relaunched as Göteborgs Rapé Granskott. The new design is a welcome change, as the green color is more appropriate for the flavor description: "
Light and spicy tobacco character with hints of spruce shoots, juniper wood, citrus and notes of apple". The can contents are the same: 20 grams in total, 20 portions in the can, weighing 1 gram each. The nicotine content sits at 13mg/g, which breaks down to 13mg per portion. Now, let's see how it tastes!
Opening the can, I pick up a present aroma of spruce. I notice some wood notes, a hint of pepper, and a dark tobacco base. The portions come in the ONE format. If you didn't have it before, they're kind of like spider-web portions. They're thin, so the flavor gets out a lot quicker than your average white portion. They feel really nice in the lip, too. In the flavor profile, it's super outdoorsy. The spruce character is present. There's a slight floral tone, along with some spicy notes. The tobacco base is earthy, but dark. It's quite an enjoyable taste. The nicotine level feels to be about the strong level, and has a pretty solid delivery to it. The flavor, on average, lasts up to about an hour, sometimes more!
Rating and Final Thoughts
Other than the design, this product remains unchanged from the last time I had it. That being said, my rating remains the same, 3.33/5. It does look better now than before, which I think is a good addition. It makes the flavor feel more top shelf. To me, this is a very outdoorsy snus. It makes me think of the woods. Much like Lundgren's Norrland, this is one I want to use more of when I'm outdoors!
