Catch Apple (White Slim) - Snus Review. 11 March 2026.

Back in 2023, Swedish Match launched XRANGE Apple, a snus added to their XR series.  This one seemed to be a rebrand of a product they discontinued called XR Sparkling (for old school folks who remember that one).  However, in the Fall of 2025, Swedish Match discontinued the ONE and XR series, and began moving these products into other lines.  XRANGE Apple became Catch Apple White Slim.  The flavor description says "Light tobacco character with clear hints of apples and orange".  Each can weighs 16g and has 20 portions, weighing 0.8g each.  The Swedish Match website doesn't have a nicotine content listed, and I see retailers online have it anywhere between 8.5-8.75mg/g.  So, the nicotine you'll get from this one is between 5.95-6.13mg per pouch.  Sorry I don't have an exact number, but that range is pretty close, and would put it in the light strength category.

The product itself doesn't seem to have changed with the rebranding.  So, that's good news.  The aroma seems to be mostly apple, but I do pick up a touch of citrus behind it.  It's slightly peppery, and has a mild tobacco base.  The portions are slim, moderately moist, and soft under the lip.  The flavor has a gradual release, due to the white portion format.  The flavor is mild, and gentle.  It's pretty pleasant.  The apple flavor is what I pick up most, and seems to err on the side of green apple.  I pick up a light touch of citrus, and some notes of pepper.  The tobacco base is mild, and earthy, but doesn't overpower the apple.  In the strength, it feels to be lighter than regular, but still somewhat close to that regular strength level.  The flavor lasts about an hour, on average.

Rating and Final Thoughts

Given that nothing has really changed about this product other than the name, my rating remains the same from the last time I reviewed it.  This one sits at 3.42/5.  Overall, a pretty enjoyable snus with a mild, balanced flavor.  Not an all day every day snus, but for me something I'd use from time to time, on occasion, when I have a craving for such a flavor.
