It's been a while since I've had the
NOIS brand, but I recently stumbled across this one and thought I'd give it a go. Today we have their Cool Strong product, in both a regular can and a mega can!
Mega cans are neat, I've reviewed a few in the past. This one is made by HRJ Production, a company out of Estonia. The flavor description for this one says "
A bold spearmint flavor". The Mega Can weighs in at 166.5g, and has 333 pouches. Their usual can is 13.5g, and has 27 pouches. Each pouch weighs just 0.5g. The nicotine content on the can says 35mg, which sounds like a lot. The bottom of the can notes that this is mg/g, so the actual nicotine strength is 17.5mg per pouch. Let's throw one in and see how they taste!
In the aroma, I pick up a smooth, sweet aroma of spearmint. The pouch is slim, moist, and quite soft. It has a soft feel under my lip, and a gentle cooling sensation in the lip, and throughout the mouth. The flavor isn't as bold as the aroma, however. I notice it to be a mild taste of spearmint, with a light touch of spearmint. It's refreshing, but not as bold as I picked up in the aroma. In the strength, this one hits hard, and it hits quick. To me, it feels above the extra strong level, perhaps around the 20mg-ish range, in terms of what it feels like. The flavor lasts about 30-40 minutes, on average. Let's see how this one ended up rating for me.
Rating and Final Thoughts
This one was decent, but much too strong for me. The aroma and flavor were good, but I wish there was more flavor presence. The pouch size was comfortable. Other than the nicotine strength, everything was pretty solid about this one. But hey, if you're someone who wants a product with a strong kick, you'll probably dig this one. It was just much too strong for me, personally.
