Alp Classic (Nicotine Pouches) - Review. 19 December 2025.

Today we have something new from the folks at Alp:  their new Alp Classic!  This is an unflavored product, available for places that are strict on flavors.  This is how Alp describes it:  "Certain states have been locked up longer than they ever should’ve been. Classic is out of the vault, available now everywhere in California, as well as Washington D.C. and Massachusetts".  Like other Alp products, the contains are the same.  Each can weighs 10g and has 20 pouches, at 0.5g each.  These come in 3mg, 6mg, and 9mg strengths.  Also, the bottom of the can notes that these are still made in India, however I've heard Alp is working on moving production to the US at some point.  Now, let's see how these taste!

Being an unflavored product, you don't get much from these.  In the aroma, I pick up mostly the pouch material.  It's a very simple presence.  The pouches are slim, and moderately dry.  They aren't as dry as Zyn, but they aren't as moist as others on the market like Velo, for example.  They have a nice fit under the lip.  As they start to moisten up in the lip, they'll also get more soft.  In the flavor, I notice some sweetness up front, but that does fade out over time.  Without much flavor added, I can say it's a simple, basic experience.  It mostly tastes like the pouch material to me.  In the strength, I got the 6mg, which is a little lighter.  Their 9mg, to me, is much better.  But they also have 3mg if you want something light.  In terms of flavor longevity, honestly you can just keep these in as long as you want, or as long as you're feeling any effect.

Rating and Final Thoughts

It's hard to rate unflavored products.  I've stopped giving them averages, because without rating the aroma, flavor, and flavor longevity, it kind of skews the average.  So, what can I say about this?  Well, it provides an unflavored experience with a nice nicotine release.  If you're in a state where flavors are banned, this is a great option.  It's very simple, easy to use, and now readily available!
