Yesterday, I found one of the two new Velo Plus products: Velo Tropical Heat. I haven't found the new Capuccino one yet. If you're looking for Tropical Heat, I found it at Casey's. I've heard they have an exclusive on it for a bit, but I'm not sure. The flavor description for this one says "A bold, juicy mango flavor with just a hint of spice". I was hoping this one would taste like Velo's Mango Flame (an EU product), which is pretty good. Each can weighs 10.6g can and has 20 pouches, at 0.53g each. This one only comes in the 6mg/pouch strength. It's said to be a Limited Edition, and the last LE they did was in 6mg/pouch as well.
Opening the can I pick up a present aroma of mango, a little citrus, perhaps orange, and a fair amount of sweetness. I don't get a lot of spice, but there is something I can dig out of the aroma that might be chili pepper, but it's very, very, very faint. Under the lip, I don't get any heat. The pouch is slim, moderately moist, and pretty soft. It's pretty comfortable under the lip, like with other Velo Plus products. In the flavor, there is no heat. None at all. The flavor is mostly mango, with some orange. It's pretty sweet, but not that spicy, at all. In the nicotine strength, this one feels to be a little lighter than the regular level. It's not weak, but not strong. The flavor lasts about 30-40 minutes, on average.

Rating and Final Thoughts
This one was pretty good! If you go into it not expecting heat, and looking for a nice, tropical flavor, you'll enjoy it. If you go into it looking for heat, you won't find it. It's more of a sweet, tropical, citrusy mango flavor. I rated it at 3.46/5. It's a tasty pouch, it's just not spicy. Honestly, they should have just called it Tropical Mango and let it ride. But all in, I enjoyed it. It's good to pair with an NA beer and a day on the water, as we did yesterday. So, grab some while it's here!
