Two things happened today. One, it appears pumpkin spice season is in effect, as I bought a Pumpkin Spice latte at the store and also found the
Old Spice Pump King body wash. And second, I found the new Velo Cappuccino Nicotine Pouches! This is one of two new US Velo releases, along with Tropical Heat. I found this one at Circle K, which is where I hear it's being sold now. Eventually, I hear it'll expand out to more stores. So, what's this pouch got going on? The flavor description says "
A sweet, medium-roast flavor layered with cream and a touch of caramel". Each can weighs 10.6g can and has 20 pouches, at 0.53g each. The nicotine content sits at 6mg/pouch. I didn't see it in any other strengths.
I'm not a big coffee guy, except for in the fall. This one just so happens to have launched during pumpkin spice season, I suspect I'll enjoy it more. The aroma on this one is definitely coffee. It's a smooth, sweet aroma of coffee. I don't pick up much else in the scent. The pouch, like other Velo products, is slim, soft, and moist. It has a nice feel under the lip, as well. The taste is intriguing! It's mild, smooth, and gentle. Like the aroma, it's a mellow, sweet taste of black coffee. I do pick up a faint hint of toffee, or perhaps caramel, in the background, but it's very light. In the strength. at 6mg, I don't get too much of a kick. But, it's pretty decent. Just light. The flavor lasts about 30-40 minutes, on average.
Rating and Final Thoughts
This one was pretty tasty! It paired great with my pumpkin spice latte. I know, I sound so basic. I gave it a 3.29/5 rating. I think coffee lovers are going to enjoy this one. There aren't a lot of coffee pouches on the market, and the ones that are out there aren't that great. So, I'd suggest trying this one if you want a pouch with a nice taste of coffee!
