FUMI Nicotine Pouches (New Version) - Review. 7 August 2025.

Today, I've got my hands on a bunch of Fumi products!  I had them several years ago, but they've been relaunched recently.  FUMI is/was a Snus Brothers product, but was recently acquired by Altria (the folks that make ON! Plus).  Two of these flavors I've had before in the old FUMI line.  The rest are all new additions.  Product-wise, FUMI comes in the slim/moist format.  It's a 14g can with 20 pouches at 0.7g each.  The pouches are all slim, soft, and moist under the upper lip.  All of these (except Freezy Mint) come in the strong level, at 8mg/pouch.  Though 8mg/pouch is actually regular strength, they call it "strong".  Freezy Mint comes in at the extra strong level, or 11mg/pouch.  11mg/pouch is actually just barely above the regular level, but they call it "Extra Strong" for some reason.  I find the nicotine strengths to be petty nice.  Their "strong" feels to be about the regular level, and their "extra strong" feels just a little above the regular level.  All of these have a great flavor presence, and a long-lasting flavor, at almost 40 minutes per pouch.  Now, let's get into the reviews and check out the flavors!

Fumi Salty Violet

Flavor Description:  "Violet combined with salty licorice".

My Thoughts:  This is one from the old line that stuck around.  In the aroma, black licorice, with a little violet.  Flavor-wise, pretty much the same.  It's mostly black licorice, but has mild hints of violet.

Fumi Salty Raspberry

Flavor Description:  "With a flavor of raspberry and licorice".

My Thoughts:  This is another one that stuck around from the old line.  In the aroma, it's a pretty even mix of raspberry and black licorice.  In the flavor profile, a sweet taste of raspberry, with hints of black licorice.  Now, on to the new flavors!

Fumi Prickly Pear

Flavor Description:  "Flavor of cactus fruit with a mild, sweet character".

My Thoughts:  Opening the can, I pick up a little aroma of pear, and a light aroma of cactus.  Catus always reminds me of green apple.  The flavor is a nice blend of pear and cactus with a light sweetness.

Fumi Zingy Ginger

Flavor Description:  "Ginger flavor with a spicy character".

My Thoughts:  When I open up the can, I pick up a present aroma of ginger.  It's lightly sweet, and smells pretty nice.  In the flavor, it's a pretty nice taste of ginger.  It's lightly sweet, and has a light spice to it.

Fumi Tangy Strawberry

Flavor Description:  "A balanced strawberry taste with a touch of sour".

My Thoughts:  In the aroma, I pick up a sweet, but tart aroma of strawberry.  In the flavor profile, it's a pretty present aroma of strawberry.  It's lightly sweet, and just a little tart.

Fumi Tangy Apple

Flavor Description:  "Balancing sweet and sour notes of apple".

My Thoughts:  In the aroma, I pick up a present, lightly sweet smell of apple.  It's almost balanced, in flavor, between red and green apples.  It's lightly sweet, and lightly tart.

Fumi Minty Blueberry

Flavor Description:  "A combination of sweet blueberry flavor and mint".

My Thoughts:  In the aroma, I pick up a lightly sweet, mild blueberry smell.  The taste is pretty solid.  It's a smooth, sweet taste of blueberry with a hint of mint to it.

Fumi Freezy Mint

Flavor Description:  "A cooling mint flavor".

My Thoughts:  And of course, a standard mint product.  In the aroma, I pick up a smooth aroma of peppermint.  It's refreshing, and sweet.  Flavor-wise, it's mostly peppermint.  It's sweet, gentle, smooth, and fresh.

Fumi Fiery Mango

Flavor Description:  "Mango with a hint of heat".

My Thoughts:  Now, the one I was most excited about.  I love tropical tastes, so I wanted to dive right into this one.  But, I saved the best for last.  In the aroma, a fresh, tropical aroma of juicy mango.  In the flavor profile, it's slightly spicy, and slightly sweet.  It has a nice tropical presence to it.  I pick up mango mostly.  It's semi-sweet, but does have a little heat to it!  Now, we've checked out all the FUMI products, let's wrap up and check out my ratings.

Rating and Final Thoughts

Let's start at the top and work our way down!  First, Fiery Mango and Tangy Apple at 3.42/5.  Next, Zingy Ginger and Minty Blueberry at 3.33/5.  After that, Salty Raspberry, Prickly Pear, and Tangy Strawberry at 3.25/5.  Then, Salty Violet at 3.17/5.  Lastly, Freezy Mint at 3.08/5.  All of these are pretty solid, but my favorite of the bunch was Fiery Mango.  But, there's something for everyone here.  No matter what you're into, there's something in this range for you!

I bought all these from SnusMe.com.
