I've reviewed quite a few of these
Dope products over the past several months. While I find the name to be a little cheesy, I've been impressed with the product quality. Dope is made by Consumer Brands International. From what I can gather they're based in the Czech Republic. Today we have their melon flavor to check out. Summer is coming on here, so I find myself reaching for flavors like melon, or more tropical flavors. I hadn't had this one yet so I grabbed some from
SnusMe to check out! The flavor description for this one says it has a taste of "
sweet, juicy melon". Each can weighs 15.4 grams and has 22 pouches, weighing just 0.7g each. The nicotine content is 16mg/g, which breaks down to 11.2mg/pouch. Now, let's do a review!
When I open the can, the aroma that comes through is quite present. I pick up a sweet, present aroma of watermelon. I find the pouches to be slim, and pretty soft to the touch. They're semi-moist in nature, and have a nice mouthfeel against the gum. The flavor on this one is quite enjoyable. It is a little on the sweeter side, so I did want to mention that first. But, the watermelon flavor is quite enjoyable! It's present, and refreshing. In the nciotine strength, this one feels to be just a little above regular strength and has a pretty quick delivery to it. The flavor lasts about 30-40 minutes or so, on average. It's a pretty well rounded, long lasting flavor!
Rating and Final Thoughts
This was a pretty tasty pouch. I rated it at 2.92/5. If it weren't for the cheesy name, it would probably be over a 3. But to me, that's a little distracting. All that aside, however, the product itself is super tasty, and has a nice, long lasting flavor. It is a little on the sweet side, so that is something to note if you're considering giving this one a go. But, if you like fruit flavors, I think you're going to enjoy his one!
