Another day, another nicotine pouch brand. I know, isn't it wild how many of these there are now? I found this one over on SnusMe, and thought I'd review it. It has some intereting flavors, so why not. I don't review every nicotine pouch on the market, because it would take me forever, so I mainly review the ones that seem interesting, or that people ask me to review. When it comes to these, they're distributed by a company in the UK called Tridots. I can't find much beyond that, so I suspect these are a white label brand made by someone else. Each can weighs 12 grams and has 20 pouches, weighing 0.6 grams each. The nicotine content is 20mg/g, which breaks down to 12mg/pouch.
Snowman Watermelon Breeze
Snowman Tropical Punch
Snowman Raspberry Blast
Snowman Fresh Mint
Snowman Citrus Boost
Snowman Arctic Kick
In the review, we'll cover what makes them different (aroma and flavor), but first let's cover what they have in common.
Commonalities:
The Pouch - These are some soft pouches! They're slim ins size, and semi-moist, with a comfortable mouthfeel.
The Nicotine Delivery - All of these feel to deliver right about the strong level.
The Flavor Longevity - All of these have flavor longevity that goes about 30-40 minutes, on average.
Now, let's do some reviews!
Snowman Watermelon Breeze
Flavor Description: "The perfect blend of sweet, juicy watermelon with a cooling breeze"
Review: Opening the can, I get a mild, fresh smell of watermelon with some hints of menthol. In the flavor, the watermelon is gentle, and semi-sweet, with some subtle tones of menthol in the background.
Snowman Tropical Punch
Flavor Description: "A tasty mix of tropical fruits like citrus, pineapple, and mango"
Review: This one has a nice smell to it! I notice orange, pineapple, and mango. In the flavor profile, it's citrusy, and tropical. It seems to be a mix of mango, and pineapple.
Flavor Description: "Rich, tangy berry taste"
Review: This one is pretty basic, and simple. It smells and tastes like raspberry. It's lightly sweet, and a little tangy. I don't notice any mint or menthol with this one. It's pretty much a direct presence of raspberry.
Flavor Description: "A sharp, refreshing mint flavor"
Review: Opening the can, I pick up a sweet aroma of peppermint. Perhaps a little menthol. In the flavor profile, a mild presence of menthol mixes with a sweet, light prince of peppermint.
Flavor Description: "A mix of lemon, lime, and orange."
Review: This one has a nice mix of lemon and lime. It's tart, and semi-sweet. In the flavor profile, the citrus taste comes through quite clearly. It's a mix of lemon and lime. It's tart in nature, with a subtle sweet tone.
Flavor Description: "A frosty, cool sensation with a sharp mint flavor"
Review: And yes, another mint one. New ranges used to always have one mint, but now it seems like they're launching two or more for some reason. It's a bit overkill. In the aroma, this one is a light, sweet mint character. It seems to be a mix of peppermint and menthol. In the flavor profile, the mint taste is light, gentle, and sweet. The peppermint flavor is present, along with subtle notes of spearmint.
Rating and Final Thoughts
These weren't too bad. To rate them from top to bottom: Tropical Punch at 3.25/5. Watermelon Breeze, Raspberry Blast, Citrus Boost at 3.17/5. Fresh Mint and Arctic Kick at 3.08/5. For me, Tropical Punch was the standout. That one was pretty good. So, if you're looking for something new to try out, I think you'll most likely enjoy these!
