Odin Nicotine Pouches - Review. 1 April 2025.

Today, we are checking out some Odin Nicotine Pouches!  To preface this, these aren't associated with Oden's Snus, or GN Tobacco Sweden.  These are actually made by Nicotech, which is a company in Estonia.  But, you can tell they're trying to clone them.  The name is similar, and all the flavor names in this line are similar to Oden's more popular products.  Oden's also makes a Double Mint, a Cold, a Wintergreen, and a Siberian product.  These names are all very common, and there are a few ways to spell "Oden" / "Odin", so a pretty interesting tactic on their part to launch these!  Each can weighs 11 grams and has 22 pouches, weighing 0.5 grams each.  The nicotine content is 16.5mg/g, which breaks down to 8.25mg/pouch.

Before we get into the reviwes and discuss their individual qualities, let's discuss what they have in common.

Commonalities:

The Pouch - All of these pouches are slim, semi-moist, and incredibly soft!
The Nicotine Delivery - These all feel to be about the regular strength level.

The Flavor Longevity - All of these have about 30-35 minutes of flavor longevity.

Now, let's do some reviews!

Odin Cold Mint

Flavor Description:  "A fresh taste of icy mint"

The Review:  Opening the can, I pick up an aroma of sweet spearmint.  The taste is milder, with a lightly sweet flavor of spearmint.

Odin Wintergreen

Flavor Description:  "A fresh and sweet wintergreen flavor"

The Review:  This one is more of a minty wintergreen.  In the aroma, I pick up mint and wintergreen, and a smell that reminds me a bit of Listerine.  Flavor-wise, it has that Listerine type flavor to it.  It is definitely a minty wintergreen taste, and has less presence in the taste than the aroma did.

Odin Siberian Cold

Flavor Description:  "An intense, refreshing flavor with a cool, icy sensation"

The Review:  This one has an icy, sweet aroma of mint.  It's mostly peppermint, perhaps a little spearmint.  In the flavor, the taste is milder.  It comes across in a sweet way, with a mix of peppermint and spearmint.

Odin Double Mint

Flavor Description:  "A perfect fusion of cool, double mint flavors"

The Review:  This one has a peppermint/menthol blend to the aroma.  It's icy, and lightly sweet.  The flavor is more mild than the aroma, and comes across as a lightly sweet mint blend.  Like the aroma, it's a mix of peppermint and menthol.

Rating and Final Thoughts

All in all, these weren't bad.  The wintergreen one I didn't like much, it had a weird taste, so it came in at 2.83/5.  But the other 3 were good.  Double Mint and Siberian Cold came in at 3.25/5, and Cold Mint came in at 3.17/5.  If you like minty flavors, I think you'll enjoy these.  The pouches are really soft, and really comfortable.
