The day is upon us and I'm ready for you to join me on the Snubie World Tour! This is a new line of premium nasal snuff made by 6 Photo Snuff in India, and sold on MrSnuff.com! I've made a lot of snus and nicotine pouch products over the years, but only one other nasal snuff. As a lover of tobacco, I didn't want to make more nicotine pouches, but it's hard to make snus products. So, I decided it was time to dive back into the world of nasal snuff! This line is inspired by my love of travel, and each product brings a unique aroma that will carry you around the world on the Snubie World Tour! As I do when I make snus products, the first 7 aromas we are releasing are ones that were voted on by the snuff community, as I like to involve tobacco fans in my product development. Today, we have Spanish Sangria to check out, so let's get to know it better!
This one surprised me. I remember when it was suggested and I put it into the poll, I wasn't sure how popular this idea would be. But, a lot of people voted highly on it. And, early impressions I've heard from product testers have said they're quite fond of it! When I open the tin, I pick up a lovely fruity aroma, along with a slight touch of orange and some hints of brandy. The tobacco is semi-moist, and soft. I find it to be pretty easy to take, as well. The aroma is lovely. It definitely captures that sangria presence. It is lightly fruity, with notes of berry. There is a very faint touch of citrus, and a nice brandy tone. The tobacco base is lightly there, but mild. I don't get a big throat hit from this one or a major drip, but I do get a slight sneeze here and there. The nicotine kick is strong, and has a nice delivery to it. On the tail end, I notice a lingering presence of faint citrus and mild berry!
Each one of these products comes in two sizes: 30 grams and 15 grams. So, you can go to the big boy if you want (about the size of a snus can), or go with a smaller 15 gram tin if you want to test it out. And, a special shout out to Kiley Owen for the beautiful graphic design on the SWT line. He also did some design work on my Artisan Snus!
Now, to give you the aroma description, I did go a little J Peterman Catalog from Seinfeld with these, but I truly wanted to immerse you in the Snubie World Tour! I'll share the whole review, but I'll bold the key aroma ingredients for you, as well. Aroma description: "It's a beautiful evening in Spain. You find yourself in Granada, at the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains. As the sun sets, you watch the sky fade from blue, to orange, to a hazy pink. In the distance, you hear the lively tones of flamenco, along with the rhythm of castanets. To top of this evening, you take a sip from your glass of Sangria. This is the life! As you reminisce on this experience, you'll never forget that glass of Sangria. Snubie's Spanish Sangria recaptures that moment, and that experience. When you open the tin, you're instantly transported back to Granada. The rich aroma of brandy greets you, along with citrusy notes of orange, and fresh notes of berry. While you may be far from Spain, Spain is never far from you."
Now, let's do a review! Some say it's weird that I review my own products, and it's hard to see impartial, and that may be true in a way, so I won't be doing a rating for these like I do with my regular products. I'll just describe them as I usually do!
Final Thoughts
This one is pretty enjoyable. While I don't drink sangria very often, I love how the presence of sangria was captured in this one. Even if you don't drink sangria, this one still has a beautiful fruitiness to it!
One quick note, you may notice the labels on this first run scratch easily, and the design to not be super sharp on the 15g tin. This will be rectified on the next run, and I do apologize for it. But, on the next run we'll make sure they're much better!
