The day is upon us and I'm ready for you to join me on the Snubie World Tour! This is a new line of premium nasal snuff made by 6 Photo Snuff in India, and sold on MrSnuff.com! I've made a lot of snus and nicotine pouch products over the years, but only one other nasal snuff. As a lover of tobacco, I didn't want to make more nicotine pouches, but it's hard to make snus products. So, I decided it was time to dive back into the world of nasal snuff! This line is inspired by my love of travel, and each product brings a unique aroma that will carry you around the world on the Snubie World Tour! As I do when I make snus products, the first 7 aromas we are releasing are ones that were voted on by the snuff community, as I like to involve tobacco fans in my product development. Today, we have Karnataka Sandalwood to check out, so let's get to know it better!
When we first announced this line, we were going to make one called Arabian Frankincense and Myrrh. That one is taking a little longer to develop (it'll come later), but I wanted to release one in this line that had a nice incense-esque aroma. So, we added this one! And it is quite lovely. Right off the bat, I pick up a lovely aroma of sandalwood. The tobacco is quite lovely, and semi-moist, and very easy to draw into the nose. In the nose, it's quite pure, and simple. A rich, beautiful aroma of sandalwood, along with a subtle, earthy tobacco presence. I don't get a major drip form this one, but I don't get a slight sneeze here and there. I don't note a major throat hit, either. The nicotine delivery is lovely, and has quite a kick to it. Very enjoyable. On the tail end, the presence of sandalwood lingers, and fades, and leaves you feeling quite nice.
Each one of these products comes in two sizes: 30 grams and 15 grams. So, you can go to the big boy if you want (about the size of a snus can), or go with a smaller 15 gram tin if you want to test it out. And, a special shout out to Kiley Owen for the beautiful graphic design on these. He also did some design work on my Artisan Snus!
Now, to give you the aroma description, I did go a little J Peterman Catalog from Seinfeld with these, but I truly wanted to immerse you in the Snubie World Tour! I'll share the whole review, but I'll bold the key aroma ingredients for you, as well. Aroma description: "You find yourself wandering in the south of India. Welcome to Karnataka. As you venture through bustling, busy street markets, your sense are awakened by the beautiful aroma of sandalwood. It becomes apparent to you why Karnataka is often referred to as “The Land of Sandalwood”. After you leave this beautiful region, you may find yourself wanting to capture this essence and carry it with you. With every tin of Karnataka Sandalwood, you can recapture this magical moment. The snuff contain premium, high quality sandalwood aroma. You may notice that reflected in the price, but this snuff deserved to utilize the best sandalwood available. Enjoy this stop on the Snubie World Tour and awaken your senses with the luxurious aroma of sandalwood!"
Now, let's do a review! Some say it's weird that I review my own products, and it's hard to see impartial, and that may be true in a way, so I won't be doing a rating for these like I do with my regular products. I'll just describe them as I usually do!
Final Thoughts
This is one of my favorite ones in the SWT line. I am a big fan of being out on the water, and this one very much captures the crisp sea air. This is one of my favorites in the lineup and I'm definitely going to be going through this tin!
One quick note, you may notice the labels on this first run scratch easily, and the design to not be super sharp on the 15g tin. This will be rectified on the next run, and I do apologize for it. But, on the next run we'll make sure they're much better! You'll also notice this one has a slight increase in price over the rest of the line. The reason for this is because a good sandalwood aroma is quite pricy. I even gave up my commission on this product so the price wouldn't be too high, and because I really wanted you all to enjoy it!
