It's almost been a year since I reviewed the BAOW Nicotine Pouches line. In case you missed that review, I'll tell you more about these. They're made by a company called Yoik AB out of Sweden. They also make the Helwit line. Today, we have their new Negroni flavor to check out. If you're not familiar with Negroni, don't feel bad, I've never had one either. Google tells me it's a cocktail made with gin, vermouth rosso, Campari, and garnished with orange. If that's confusing, I tried a snus once with this flavor, and the flavor notes were said to be juniper, cherry, orange, grapefruit, and wormwood. So, we'll see how that translates! As far as this product goes, the flavor description says "the bold and bittersweet flavor of a classic negroni cocktail". Each can is 12 grams, and contains 20 portions weighing 0.6 grams each. The nicotine content is 20mg/g, but that breaks down to just 12mg/pouch. Now, let's open up a can and check this one out.
Having never had a negroni cocktail before, I'm going to just go off of what I pick up in this one in the flavor and aroma notes that come through from the pouch. Comparison-wise, I won't be able to tell you much ont that one. In the aroma, I notice it to be sour and tart. I pick up orange, subtle wood notes, a mild fruit tone, and some gentle notes of juniper. The pouches are slim, and semi-dry, and lighter in weight. They have a soft feel in the lip, but aren't super moist. The flavor is interesting. I pick up a tart taste of citrus. It's mostly orange, but with some lemon. There's a faint touch of juniper, and a few notes of wood. In the nicotine strength, it feels to be about the regular level. The flavor lasts about 35-40 minutes, on average.

Rating and Final Thoughts
In the end, I gave this one a 3.08/5. It's not bad, it's not great, it's just kind of average to me. It's not really something I'd go for, but I imagine that's because I don't drink hard liquor, and I've never had a negroni. However, if you like this sort of flavor, you may go for it. Plus, it is always refreshing to see companies experimenting with different flavors, so that's a plus!
