Zyn Red Fruits (Slim) Nicotine Pouches - Review. 17 February 2025.

This product launched a little while back, but I'm just now getting around to ordering it to review.  Honestly, there are so many nicotine pouches out there, I don't rush to review new ones like I do with snus.  Today, we have Swedish Match's Zyn Red Fruits.  Note, this is a slim/moist product for the Swedish market, and online sales.  This isn't a mini/dry product for the US market.  The flavor description for this one says "ZYN Red Fruits Slim has a strawberry and menthol flavor, with a hint of rhubarb and raspberry".  Each car weighs 14.7 grams and has 21 pouches, for 0.7 gram pouches.  The nicotine content is 12.9mg/g, which breaks down to 9.03mg/pouch.  Now, let's check this stuff out!

Opening the can, you can definitely pick up some rhubarb.  It's slightly tart.  Along with it, some semi-sweet fruity notes of raspberry and strawberry come through.  It does have a slight cooling essence to the aroma, but it's not overly minty.  The pouches are slim, semi-moist and pretty soft.  They feel comfortable under the lip when you put them in.  The flavor is pretty tasty.  I notice it to be slightly sweet, and slightly tart.  The raspberry and strawberry comes through pretty clearly, and has a light touch of rhubarb to it.  It is kind of a "cooling" type of taste, but I don't pick up a big taste of mint or menthol.  The nicotine strength on this one is pretty decent, and feels to be about the regular level.  The flavor lasts a good 40-45 minutes.

Rating and Final Thoughts

All in all, not bad stuff!  I gave this one a 3.5/5.  I think the flavor works pretty well.  I'm usually not the biggest fan of rhubarb in snus or nicotine pouches, but it honestly wasn't too obtrusive.  And I didn't find the mint/menthol character to be too in your face, which can usually ruin a pouch.  So, if you like fruit flavors, give this one a go!

I buy my products from SnusMe.com, I suggest checking them out!
