Greatest (Brand) Nicotine Pouches - Review. 26 February 2025.

This product certainly has an interesting name.  I was typing the headline and read "Greatest Nicotine Pouches" in my head and thought yep, that was some good branding on their part.  These are made by Premium Pouch, they're a company in Finland.  I recently saw these on Snuzyn.com so I figured I'd give them a try.  I hear they're pretty popular.  Both of these have the same flavor description:  "an icy burst of cooling mint".  They differ in other areas though, the contents are different, and so is the nicotine strength in each one.  The name is interesting, because "Cold Dry" is something you see with snus a lot.  However, these aren't snus, nor are they that dry.  With all that being said, let's just jump into the reviews, so we can try these out.

Greatest Cold Dry (8mg)

Content:  10 grams, 20 pouches, 0.5g each
Nicotine:  16mg/g, or 8mg/pouch

Review:  Opening the can, I pick up a smooth, sweet mint smell.  It seems to be spearmint, but with a hint of peppermint.  The pouches are small in size, light in weight, and pretty dry.  The flavor is a sweet taste of mint.  It's gentle, and is mostly spearmint, with a little peppermint.  The nicotine strength feels about the regular level.  The flavor lasts about thirty minutes.

Greatest Cold Dry (16mg)

Content:  15 grams, 20 pouches, 0.75g each
Nicotine:  16mg/g, or 12mg/pouch

Review:  This one is similar to the last one.  The aroma and flavor is identical, so I'm not going to touch too much on that since they're so similar.  But the pouch is different.  This one is more slim, seems to have more weight, and is more soft/moist.  The nicotine is a little stronger on this one than the last one.  It feels a little over regular strength, but isn't too crazy strong or anything.  The flavor lasts about 30 minutes, on average.

Rating and Final Thoughts

These were pretty decent, about average to me.  The 8mg one came in at 3.08/5.  The 16mg one came in at 3/5.  So they're virtually identical in score.  I liked the 8mg strength more.  But the 16mg one had way better pouches.  They only ended up at 0.08 apart in score, so you might as well consider them the same.  There are so many mint pouches out there, hundreds of them, so it's hard to get super excited about them, but I do my best to remain objective!
